booked this late as we got stuck in the area , and were very pleased with the hotel and staff , walking distance for a couple of shops and food ,and very spacious kitchen and living area in hotel

Large clean house, perfect for La Pavona harbour, the hosts were amazing, Louis help us enormously, arranging a guide for us and providing invaluable information. Alan cooked us a lovely breakfast. Very secure property, car safety tucked away under cover. Large kitchen available.

Tico House is an incredible place to rest after a long trip. Starting with the excellent attention in the reception by Andrés, the main host. The house is super spacious, it has everything you need in the kitchen. The parking lot is large, and on the outside, they have beautiful terraces with views of the garden and a beautiful pool where you can cool off. It does get a little hot but there are fans that cool the room and the possibility of getting extra fans for free. The complementary breakfast was fantastic to have a little coffee before starting our trip to La Pavona. During the arrival, they gave us all the information on schedules, tours, and 100% top recommendations. We will certainly come back and recommend this absolutly amazing place.

Nice accomodation in a calm area. Bathroom and a big kitchen are shared with other guests. The host lives in another house in the same property and is extremely helpful with all the local tips, especially with planning a trip to Tortuguero national park.

Due to a mudslide, I could no longer travel to Tortuguero that day and was very happy to have found this accommodation at short notice. On the way to or from Tortuguero, it is perfectly located if you only want to stay there for a night to a good price. The house is surrounded by walls and therefore safe. The kitchen and living room are very spacious and nice.

Luis and his mom Vilma were very hospitable. They were kind and informative. Their online posting was as advertised. The room was perfect for the price. Vilma even gave us an upgrade due to my father in law being a giant at 6foot5inches tall.

The host was super nice and very helpful! He got up with us at 4 am to drive us to the bus station! This is something I have never experienced before! Also the kitchen is amazing and very well equipped! Also, they had all the stuff for a sandwich and oatmeal ready for us to prepare! We had a great rest at the bed& and breakfast after a very long day of traveling. The room and bed were very comfy and quite!
