The Host was very helpful and patient though communication was a problem. The place is value for money. It is situated in the middle of wilderness and we are really close to nature.

The location is absolutely fantastic, it’s like on another planet! It takes about 15-20min ride off the main road and we really enjoyed a serene journey across the countryside. It’s close to Grutas, maybe 30min drive, and even on a cold day (+12’C) we had a blast at the thermal baths. Inside the tiny house is a bedroom and bathroom, it’s really nice and convenient. We visited in early December and it can get rather cold and humid at night (+5’C), so come prepared :)

Simple accommodations in a pristine and beautiful setting. The property consists of several cabins built of stone with roofs of local thatching. The bed was comfortable and the austerity of the stay was certainly part of the lovely experience. About 30 minutes from Tolantongo by car makes it a reasonable base of operations for visiting there. There is a small store on property with basics. There is a restaurant on site as well, but it is only open seasonally. About 15 minutes into town there are several tiendas and restaurants. The road to access the property is not bad at all! We averaged 50-60 kph and made it easily in a rented VW Vento, both during day and night. Anyone reporting otherwise should likely not be behind the wheel in the first place. Do not have any fear about access.

Very comfortable bed and good sized bathroom. Peaceful surrounding area. The road isn't terrible to get there despite reviews on it being extremely difficult - it is dirt road for some of it and a few potholes here and there but if you're careful it's absolutely fine and no risk of car damage.

It is a very quiet place, where you can feel only you and nature.The cabin was very clean and comfortable.Me and my boyfriend will definitely come back to this wonderful place.I recommend it!

“Great staff & views!”

The staff were amazing. Very friendly and helpful. It was freezing but the shower had very hot water & even though there's no Kettle, we were given hot water for our Noodles & coffee!

One of the best sleeps I’ve had. Woke up with birds and walked around this beautiful area. If you’re going to Grutas, you should definitely spend some time here.

“Nice for a short stay”

The landscape and cabañas are beautiful and very quiet. I didn’t have water in the one I was first supposed to stay but the host didn’t hesitate to move me to another one. The street to get there is a bit bumpy but fine even without 4-wheel drive. Drive to Grutas Tolantongo is about 30 Min.
