“Galician Beach Hotel”

We had a lovely stay at this clean, modern beachfront hotel with free parking and a very good continental breakfast. The beach views are beautiful, and the restaurant overlooking the water looked excellent, though it is closed on Sundays. Parking is convenient once you know the layout: you drive through the hotel entrance and continue all the way to the upper parking area. The reception is located midway between the entrance and the parking area, making it easy to briefly stop and unload luggage before parking. The total drive through the property is approximately 100 meters (300 feet). One thing to note is that the hotel is built on an incline, so walking anywhere on the property — whether up to the parking area or down toward the entrance, breakfast area, or beach access — involves some uphill or downhill walking. Overall, this is a modern, welcoming, and very well-maintained hotel with beautiful beach views.

Fantastic location overlooking the sea, modern clean rooms, smart tv. Despite us not speaking Spanish, and the host not speaking English, communication was great. Great Breakfast!

Great views of the beach and sea with easy to get to restaurant (not the hotel restaurant, that was closed). People were very friendly (shops, restaurants etc) which was a relief after hearing about demonstrations in other parts of the country against tourists. (Who pay their wages/pensions). A very nice breakfast spread was included.

An extremely comfortable hostel/ hotel run by fantastic people. Very affordable for a beach front accommodation . Facilities provided are well thought out for those who surf. The buffet breakfast was very good, gluten free bread was available- I notified them in advance. The staff and owner are lovely people and I’m was happy to support a small independent company. The owner was like an uncle and takes great pride in ensuring that his diverse clients are well cared for. House keeping was done every day in the bedrooms. I would definitely stay here again. Also it’s dog friendly!

- Easy parking directly outside of the property. This may get a little full in peak season, but it was great in early autumn. - Good board storage, showers to wash after a surf and wetsuit drying area. - Fantastic access to the beach. - Lovely staff running the breakfast and have a little chat with you every morning.

Everything. The owner and his family were delightful, helpful, friendly and professional. The premises were well appointed and comfortable. There was off road parking and the setting on a sandy beach the Atlantic coast was an ‘area of outstanding beauty’. Overall highly recommended!!
