The accommodation was delightful. Everything inside was of a very high standard. The hosts are absolutely meticulous in the cleanliness and order of the property. Hazel and Christos are both very professional, warm and hospitable people. We had the most wonderful stay there with our two children and feel very confident recommending it to other people.

The place is emaculate, garden and pool done every day, secure parking and cottage is extremely private. Great secure local location with easy access to everywhere. We look forward to returning.

The pool and garden area were very nice. The property was equipped with everything you could possible need. The property was exceptionally clean and well maintained. The welcome gift of wine and chocolates was a nice touch

There was nothing not to like everything had been meticulously planned and thought through. The swimming pool, braii, stoop and being totally secluded was wonderful. We loved every second of it. The hosts, Hazel & Christo are fabulous and made our stay special and memorable.

We stayed in Meerendal Cottage from 5th January until 3rd February 2024. The property is absolutely superb and the owners, Hazel & Christo, who live in the adjoining property, are very special people. We had decided to find a 5 star property that would afford us privacy and luxury whilst we enjoyed the hot South African summer. The property met this brief 100%. The cottage is extremely well appointed, has 2 bedrooms, a kitchen and two bathrooms. The showers are excellent. The exclusive use of the small but lovely garden and the swimming pool are of enormous benefit. The pool is heated and we used it constantly as it was at the right temperature to enjoy easy access. We ate out a few nights a week but BBQ'd the rest of the time. We can't thank Hazel and Christo enough for their kind hospitality.

An absolute gem. Hosts met us on arrival and even got up early to see us off. Ideally located away from the bustle of Cape Town but close enough to explore. Cottage had everything we needed and more. Swimming pool is private and will be cleaned and covered daily without intrusion. Lovely covered patio area for dining outside, supermarket a 3 minute drive away. “Very relaxing, my wife swam every Morning before breakfast.”

Location for us was perfect, close to the shopping mall, the beach and winers. We were self catering, the BBQ was ideal. Our hosts could not have been better. We would return there, and certainly reccommend it.
