Devonport House is an excellent quiet destination for those looking to be out of town in Cape Town. it really suited us. We loved it. Everyone very friendly and we felt easy in the house - Jacques said to feel at home and we did. it was very clean and the staff are wonderful.

The staff, Primrose, James & Nomsa, & Martha in the background, were outstanding - polite, friendly, helpful, excellent service. Breakfast was good. Jacques answered whatsapp texts promptly.

The accomodation inside and out was pure luxery. Lovely setting and close to Groot Constantia where we went for a wedding. The bed was extra comfy. The garden and pool area was stunning. The staff were friendly and helpfull. Would have loved to have stayed longer. Will return for sure.

The service and accommodation was exceptional. The attention to detail and the bonus of having James the driver to take us about was extremely helpful. If you want a quiet break in a small luxury guest house I would highly recommend. The hosts jacques and Jenn make this a special place.

“Exceptional & Charming Place to Stay”

This was relaxed and classy place to stay. Our room was very well appointed with plenty of cupboard space and a good bathroom. Breakfast was good and efficiently served by the lovely Primrose. All the facilities that you might need were there including a driver that you could pre-arrange to take you out, especially in the evening for dinner. Jaques and Jenni were very friendly and hospitable hosts which made it a very easy and comfortable place to stay.

A very aesthetic and beautiful place. The view and the air are amazing. We stayed in a large apartment — bright and spacious. A transfer from the airport was arranged for us. After a long flight, we were able to sleep well on the comfortable bed. The owners - Jacques and Jenn are warm and welcoming people. The service staff is friendly and attentive. The entire estate and the surrounding area are harmonious. If you exit through the gate in the backyard and walk through the vineyards, you can reach the Groot Constantia estate and the Simon’s restaurant. You can also hop on the red bus and enjoy an exciting sightseeing tour. One of the best places we have stayed in Cape Town.

A wonderfully located & well appointed guesthouse house with large & very comfortable rooms. The gardens were lovely and the breakfast top notch! The owners were warm and very welcoming as were the staff ! We certainly would stay again when returning to South Africa

We had a lovely stay at the Devonport House! The hosts were lovely and took care of our requests. We arrived early and were able to leave our luggage while our room was being prepared, and when we came back late at night everything had been brought to our room. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. Breakfast the next morning was also very nice. We loved the views from our room. Definitely would stay here again!
