“A wonderful villa set in beautiful surroundings!”

The villa was clean, comfortable and very well equipped, and the garden and pool were beautiful. It was set in a quiet cul de sac in the Tuscan hills and it was incredible to wake up each morning and be greeted with such idyllic surroundings. Andrea, the host, was wonderful - friendly, professional, knowledgeable about the local area and so welcoming. We had a wonderful holiday and I can highly recommend the villa to others.

We loved everything about our stay here. The villa and property are perfectly maintained. We loved the spacious yard, the pool, our children enjoyed feeding the fish in the beautiful pond and the view is truly breathtaking! The villa has everything you need for a very comfortable stay. Andrea is the kindest host we’ve ever experienced. He is friendly, welcoming, kind and helpful. The information book provided in the villa is excellent and we used it to explore and shop locally. Andrea even booked us a restaurant one night which was lovely. We only had a car for a couple of days so we used the local bus into Lucca a few times which was easy from the villa. It was so hard to leave this beautiful property. Thank you to Andrea and family for giving us the most perfect Tuscan experience. The memories we made over meal times with that stunning view will last a lifetime!

“Amazing experience”

Villa Briciola is a beautiful place that we wholeheartedly recommend to anyone looking for a comfortable, peaceful, and well-appointed home for a holiday in Tuscany. Although the house is not old, its Tuscan architectural elements and solid, stylish (often antique) furniture give it a noble and elegant character. Everything in the villa is of high quality. The entire property is very well-maintained, spotless, and in excellent condition. The villa offers everything needed for a comfortable stay for seven people: comfortable beds, a choice of soft or firm pillows, an en-suite bathroom for each bedroom, a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioners with heating function, mosquito screens on the windows, and a large, well-kept grassy garden. Our grandchildren spent most of their time outside, playing on the lawn, swimming in the private pool, watching the frogs and fish in the pond, and feeding them (Andrea even provided special fish food!). There's also a fully equipped barbecue – you only need to bring charcoal. We were pleasantly surprised by many thoughtful touches: laundry lines with clothespins, cleaning supplies, dish towels, dish soap, dishwasher tablets, paper towels – all provided on site. Cleanliness in the house was impeccable, and the host, Andrea, deserves special recognition – he is incredibly kind, helpful, and attentive. Even before our arrival, he sent us detailed instructions on how to get there, and he welcomed us with a folder with local attractions, restaurants, and shops, and also a bottle of wine, snacks, and coffee capsules for the espresso machine. During our stay, he helped us when we had trouble at a self-service gas station, and one morning we even found a bowl full of cherries from his own garden on the terrace. We spent a wonderful, relaxing week there – both adults and children had a great time.
