“A wonderful stay - wish it had been longer!”

We couldn't have asked for better from our hosts, who made us feel so welcome, and nothing was too much trouble for them. Such a lovely change from the self check ins that seem to be so common now. Our bedroom was lovely and cosy, and we had the use of a lounge too. Breakfasts were really delicious, and this was definitely our best stay in Nova Scotia. Two beautiful sunsets over the gorgeous sea view were the icing on the cake.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay with Brenda and Roger, was a true pleasure and one of the highlights of our trip. Loved the room, stunning location and delicious breakfast. They gave us tons of tips on what to check out in the area and sent of us off with some delicious oat cakes (the best we had!) recommend this Bnb wholeheartedly and only wish we had stayed longer, Chéticamp and Cape Breton is a truly wonderful place and community! Ps thank you for the Big Spruce tip - was great to watch Jason & Kyle play!

Brenda and Roger are two wonderful hosts that make you feel at home from the moment you arrive. We received suggestions for ‘hidden’ routes and trails, they served a lovely breakfast with home made scones, including a plastic bag in case you want to take seldomly remaining scones during your next hike. The room was spatious, clean and comfortable. There was also a separate reading room at our disposal with TV, books, maps, a guitar and a violin for visitors. A fantastic stay!

Breakfast was delicious. Location was very convenient - on the Cabot Trail Hwy and a great view of the Atlantic. Lovely heritage home with a great attention to detail and guests needs. Hosts couldn’t have been kinder and we appreciated chatting with them and learning more about the area and places to visit.

Brenda and Roger are superb hosts. From the moment we arrived, we felt very welcomed at their lovely beach home. We enjoyed the cool ocean breeze through our bedroom window as we slept, and the extra sitting room space and fridge made the stay even more comfortable. The breakfast was fantastic- especially those blueberry scones! They thoughtfully bagged up the extra scones that we couldn’t manage to finish at the table, so we could bring them along for our hike. They were also kind enough to recommend local sights and a fantastic nearby quilt shop, even calling ahead for us to check that it was open. The highlight of our Highlands experience!

Stunning place but Brenda and Roger themselves make it truly special. The room was cosy and perfectly clean. The view was truly special too. Brenda and Roger prepared an outstanding delicious breakfast every day (best egg Benedict’s I ever had) and we had lovely conversations. Thank you so much for having us. We will be back.

I absolutely loved my stay with Brenda and Roger. The accommodation is spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The breakfast was incredible both mornings. But mostly I enjoyed meeting my hosts who were so friendly and welcoming. I felt like I was staying with family. I couldn't recommend this stop more! I will definitely come back if I'm in the area again.

Very clean and exclusive place with Brenda and the inventor Prince of her. Ocean view from window and porch. The breakfasts were really good. Safe and quiet environment. It is especially recommended for couples who want to explore the Cabot Trail, which is very close to here.

Both mornings we had an incredible breakfast. The hosts go over and beyond to make sure you begin your day with a full tummy. Eggs benedict were AMAZING as was everything else. First time my husband every had eggs benedict and he loved them!
