Loved the property, beautiful buildings and facilities. Great service from reception. Very well maintained. Loved the beach, it was a bit rough but beautiful clear water. Loved the champagne on arrival and extra bottle sent for celebrating our honeymoon. Free Antigen test provided to return home was very much appreciated.

Stunning hotel with breathtaking views. The fact a lot of rooms have their own pools means the hotel pools are not that busy. The food was great, especially if you can swallow the 98 steps to the beach and the naked fisherman.

“Amazing, but not perfect”

We travelled as a couple in our early 30’s with a 7 month old baby. General resident mix is 90% retirees, 5% honeymooners & 5% coupes with young children - but a nice mix with everyone being polite, friendly and chatty. Staff - were amazing in parts. Having travelled with our 7 month old daughter, the breakfast and lunch staff were motherly, caring and accommodating to our and her needs. Caribbean hospitality, whilst not always the fastest, is so memorable and I regularly reminisced to when I was a child visiting this part of the world and having staff be so kind, fun and bubbly with guests. The Cliff Restaurant - quality and taste were standards I’d expect of high end London places. Just felt bit exuberant eating there regularly. But we did, cause it was a holiday and special trip. Having breakfast there every morning overlooking the sea is just amazing, a fantastic setting. The Naked Fisherman - picture postcard beach bar vibe - great casual place for enjoying long lunches over drinks in the shade - and a good variety of food on offer. Water sports - all included and great selection Beach - excellent - didn’t feel we needed to tour others. Was lovely sand, clear waters and small enough felt quite private, and whilst it wasn’t, hotel residents have exclusivity over sunbeds, staff and activities. The waves were quite rough, so if your not confident with that you may not be comfortable swimming. Pool - basis most rooms having private pools the two resort pools were quiet and relaxed, without stress of having to contend for sunbed location/preferences. Room - spacious, clean and all seem to have nice balconies for evening drinks etc. For those travelling with kids/babies, it’s worth noting that whilst the cot was provided it is in your room, so is restrictive for parents post bedtime. We used the balcony to continue evening drinks or have food in the room. Our room also didn’t include a bath so worth bringing a travel on if necessary.

We loved the staff! They are wonderful and a big part of this hotel's success. From the restaurant servers to the people who bring you your beach towels, they just can't do enough. This is a hotel where the details count. Little things like the liquid soap in your room smells of the highest quality. The location is incredible and the food is excellent - we were all inclusive. We would stay for a shorter time next time, because the food was too rich for 15 days. I am Coeliac, and my choices were good in The Cliff (incredible views) restaurant - freshly made gluten free bread at each meal - but not at the beach restaurant 'The Naked Fisherman - the most wonderful location on a brilliant beach. Very small choice for a Coeliac there. I would have liked just plain food (pasta was there for non-coeliacs) to be offered to me too. The massages were terrific.
