The location and access to this facility was grossly misrepresented. Having arrived early to the area the day before we decided to check it out. The web site indicates that it is only 7.8 km's from city center. In reality it is approximately 5.5 km's of rough and beat up asphalt plus, in excess of 10 km's of hard packed dirt and gravel road with rocks and pot holes. Navigating this on motorcycle (Harley Trikes) was attempted but proven too difficult after 5 km's of dirt. This is a road suitable for 4 wheel drive vehicles and ATV's and we were advised to stop before attempting the "hill from Hell" as expressed by one driver we stopped along the way. Once decision was made to turn around I came to realize that there was no cell service and I was unable to cancel in a timely fashion. Unfortunately the charge of $294.13 was processed against my credit card. This has raised an issue of confidence when reserving on line. Please advise if there is an equitable solution to this.

“Simple, comfortable, hospitable, close to the national park - a perfect stayover or base”
Very helpful staff - who waited up for us to arrive when the ferry arrived late. Our room was spacious and had everything necessary for a family of four to go straight to bed and get some rest. Plentiful breakfast and a fantastic view to the Gaspesie national park. If you are there for the park this is a good spot to base yourself from.

Could had been a very different experience after driving for 20 min gravel Rd into the mountains and not been able to connect with the sky as Lights were on all night making it imposible to see Stars, what a pitty !! Had to drive back into town to get Food as the Restaurant was closed too ( off season we were told) so trully ,it was not worth all the diving twice ino the lodge ,we can add, not a Pleasant Experience for us.
