“I had a great stay!”
Very helpful host, comfortable beds, and good location. The host helped me with info about the bus to the waterfalls, booking a sleeper bus at a good price, and gave me a great pho restaurant rec.

“One of the best place to stay in Cao Bang”
Very good value for money, the rooms are clean and comfortable, the host is very kind, helpful and speaks English quite well. the rooms are heated and the water in the bathroom is hot which is very pleasant in winter.

An is amazing! He is so friendly and really tries to make the stay as comfortable for you as possible. I arrived at 4am and had a bed in the dorm booked for 2 nights. However, he didn't want to wake up the others in the dorm so gave me a private room since no one had booked it for the night. The next day he said I could stay in the room and all for no extra costs. Leaving my big backpack with him for when I went to the waterfall for one night wasn't a problem at all. He is not fluent in English (what I didn't mind at all) but I think he underestimates his skills a little :D can warmly recommend this lovely homestay.

It was great staying at An Homestay, the host is very helpful and friendly, he arranged tour for us which was perfect and covered all major Cao Bang attractions. Rooms are clean and the property is easily accessible. The bus will drop you right in front of the homestay overall it was a pleasant stay.

“Cozy and welcoming by”
The guy who manages the hostel has been amazing and kind, he rented us a very good motorbike for a cheap prize and helped us giving useful information. He also drives us at the bus station and waited for us during the night for the check in because the bus was in delay. Rooms are cozy and clean, price cheap. Thanks!

The host was very friendly, helpful and accommodating. The room was spacious, shower hot (needed after biking around all day!). Good banh Mi and coffee right outside the door!

“Big love for this place”
Quang - the owner will take care of you like you are in a 5* hotel. He runs this hostel with all his heart and willing. I checked in at midnight and he upgraded a cozy nice room for me 🧡. Rooms & bathroom are clean & neat. I definitely stay here next time!!!

Warm welcome by host An. Spacious room for the 6 proper bunk beds with nice privacy curtains. Good functioning airconditioning. Toiletries were available as well as a towel and a small bottle of water. My motorcycle was parked inside for the night. The city's not so lively center on the other side of the river is less than 15 minutes away by foot. Winmart+, ice-cream shop and little restaurants with local food are all in the same street just a few doors down. Best of all: when I asked An if he knew a good place to replace the broken side mirror of my bike, he gave me one for free! That should tell you enough about this man's personality. Not likely I'll be coming back to this town, but if I do, I know where to stay!
