10 out of 10 for overall experience, we absolutely loved the stay. Due to a sudden holiday plan change we made a last minute booking (1.5 months in advance). Everything was very expensive for sure. We literally typed Mallorca and dates on booking.com, sorted hotels by asc price, and selected 2nd cheapest option blindly, which was still expensive. 1st day and night we saw that: room smelled horribly with detergents (omg and we need to sleep there 2 weeks?..), airco is not the greatest (kinda works, but still warm), that we need to pay for safe smth like 2 or 3 eur per day, that breakfast has no normal juices (apart from tomato one), unedible omelette and is generally on the cheap side. Apart from that we realized that Canyamel is a tiny place with not even a promenade, with few places to eat that did not seem decent at the first sight. Few days later, also after travelling around Mallorca, and spending time in the hotel and Canyamel, we started thinking that it is one of the best places in the world, and became incredibly thankful to the hotel, since its price made us experience it all. Hotel: - 5 min walk from the beach!!! Nothing beats that. Definitely value for money. - amazing pool, enough place for everyone. Spent middays there when it was too hot at the beach - we really liked the lady responsible for entertainment program. Aqua aerobics conducted by her was just great!!!!!!! - nice hotel bar, nice live music on Mon and Fri until 22:30. Drink sangria at the sunbed next to the pool, look at the stars, listen to music, dance if you feel like. In the same time - privacy. We sat a bit aside, kid (6yo) could just sleep there. What can be better than that. - breakfast is there, no need to cook, kid could order omelette from fresh eggs daily. Fresh fruit incl tasty watermelon. Tasty cheese.

As it was off season, it was not too busy and we could always get a sunbed. Bar staff were friendly.

I liked the atmosphere. Adults only was perfect! very close to the beach. Small but quality selection of restaurants. Staff were really nice and helpful. the pool was clean and large enough to accommodate the people staying there.

Hotel was nice and quit. No children. All-inclusive bar was really nice. Thanks Ramon and co. Entertainment was good. Mohamed did a great job :-) Beach was very nice and clean, and close to the hotel. Nice that they turned on the lights in the pool in the evening.

The hotel has a really good access to the beach, it is so easy to go to the beach. The cleanliness is so good. Every day the rooms are getting cleaned and around pool and all the toilets in hotel are so clean. The entertainment programs at night were so fun and created a friendly atmosphere among the geusts and staff. The cooks and bartenders are super friendly. The management of hotel is so helpful and they do whatever you need to make your stay comfortable.

“Okay for short stay”

Room was okay, cigarette smell of the staff came through the window which could not be closes properly. Bathroom was older and brown water came out of the shower. Good choice at breakfast buffet. Friendly staff.

Reception staff brilliant. Never tired to explain to people the same things. Food is good. My room nr 523 was with perfect view. Hotel located just 5 minutes from beautiful laguna.

“Not worth the money - there are better 4-star hotels out there.”

This was a one-night stay because the hotel I was due to stay in at Font de sa Cala could not accommodate me for the first night. There was a man at reception who was helpful when I asked him a few questions - the lady on reception was less nice and helpful I found.

The location is perfect. We got a garden view room which was a great surprise as we could see the sea from there too! Kristy the animator was amazing! So welcoming and she done loads of fun activities. Reception staff was excellent too always had a smile for us and very attentive. Thank you guys for everything we will be returning!

Wonderful selection at breakfast and very friendly staff. Shared areas all very clean. Located very close to the beach, several hiking routes, supermarkets and restaurants.
