“Fantastic people, fantastic location , fantastic everything”
The Ambleside Inn is in a first class location. I would recommend anyone visiting the Banff area to stay at Canmore and the Ambleside inn made a perfect base to explore the area from. The place is fantastic ran by the most helpful and friendly couple. Breakfasts are special much better than anything you’d get in a hotel

“The best stay of our Alberta trip — spotless, welcoming, amazing breakfast, and truly felt like home; we would definitel”
Our stay at Ambleside Lodge was the best of our entire week in Alberta. We truly felt at home there, and we even changed our last night in Banff to come back again. Canmore is much less touristy and more relaxing than Banff, and we would definitely stay here again if we return. The breakfast was delicious, everything was spotless, and the hosts made us feel incredibly welcome.

Annie and Brian were great hosts welcoming us into their home like family members. Breakfasts were incredible, and different daily. Location was really good for the local town of Canmore and also further afield. Wouldn't hesitate to recommend staying anyone staying there.

Perfect hosts who welcomed us into their beautiful home. Our room was very comfortable and we slept extremely well. Breakfast was scrumptious and plentiful. Great location to walk into town. Parking is easy & secure. We would 100% return to stay here and we thoroughly enjoyed it.

“Beautiful lodge in the picturesque town of Canmore”
The B&B is located in the lovely town of Canmore. Surrounded by wildlife and some beautiful hikes just close by. We were lucky enough to go on a drive on our first day and spotted some grizzly bears! What an experience. The hospitality at the Lodge is second to none, with tea, coffee and biscuits available throughout the day. Not to mention the beautiful breakfast which included fresh berries from the garden. What a welcome to Alberta!

“Lovely stay in a beautiful town with great hosts.”
Location was easy walk into town. Peaceful area. Easy to access walks. Very comfortable accommodation. Owners were knowledgeable and helpful. Was also nice to meet other travellers. Breakfast was A1. Could have gone all day on it!

“Best place to stay with the most lovely hosts”
This was the best place I've stayed at. Annie and her family are such sweethearts. Absolutely gorgeous lodge, comfy beds and delicious breakfast served every morning. The hosts went above and beyond.
