Doce Canela - Pousada de Charme is located in the city that is considered a “Natural Passion”. In a wooded and peaceful environment, our location is a demonstration of how your days with us will be. We try to offer our guests a welcoming environment, so that they can relax and enjoy nature. We pay very special attention to our garden, as we know that many of those who come to us want that connection. Trees and flowers attract birds and butterflies, creating a harmonious atmosphere around us. The main mansion is built in 1981 and was designed to house a traditional family in the city and was also the setting for Globo for the recording of a special by Renato Aragão. Warmth, welcome and glamor are in our DNA! In 2008 the property was sold, restored and expanded to open its doors in 2010 as a Pousada. With a classic Provençal concept, we sought the best references from the south of France to decorate each room in a unique way. In addition, our layout in blocks will make your stay more intimate, giving you privacy and freedom for family activities. We offer all the amenities you need to have a comfortable stay here. The complete Breakfast that will remind you of the typical coffees of the cultures that colonized the region. To complete your experience, the city has numerous options for restaurants and tourist attractions that will make your days here unforgettable!

Doce Canela was even more charming than what we expected. It's a real boutique hotel with impeccable service, nice decor that makes you feel at home, copious breakfast, nice swimming pool in a beautiful garden. Within walking distance there are lots of restaurants.

“Uncomfortable and not welcome as a guest. I felt like I should not be there because we are bothering”
We were treat as we must have to follow rules and rules. When we arrive we just listen what we can not do. They do not encourage you to get out of your bedroom which is small for the price. The shower doesn't have water you need to wait until the water came, step by step. We were ask to leave the table coffee when the coffee place was totally empty, with the excuse of COVID rules. They don't use the table outside, which could be great. The food has a beautiful presentation, but with zero flavor. Coffee is cooked or from an awful machine. Charge you for service. 10%. I felt very not welcome in the place. For sure not will be one of my choices. However, when you look the pictures of the place they are beautiful and that is true, but it is just to show in picture is not for enjoy it.
