Modern and beautiful house, spacious - for the family of 6, it was perfect. The views are amazing - one could gaze for hours watching the ocean and the surrounding mountains. I chose this property because of its location. It is situated near the town of Candelaria which in my opinion is a good starting point for exploration both north and south of the island. It is situated on a hill, about 400m above sea level with a beautiful view and without any close neighbours so it is very very peaceful - I value that greatly. Yes, the road may be a bit challenging for some drivers, it is very steep and narrow as noted in some of the reviews, but I am used to driving on such roads so it was not a problem for me at all. A bonus tip: It may be easier for some drivers to access the villa from above if you go up the Cale Araya road. Still steep and narrow on some points but generally wider and in far better shape then Cale el Seyfon road which was also being worked on during the time of our visit. You can park two cars in the parking lot but you will need to leave the parking lot doors open. If using just one car you can close the doors. Again, not an issue for me. You can also park on the street as locals do. The closest shops and gas station are about 10min away by car (Lidl, Aldi, Dino) - stores are open till 10pm, gas 24h. You have 5G coverage of the area both inside and outside of the villa. The grill is located opposite of the bedrooms so adults can enjoy a late night with barbecue and a beer while kids are asleep. The pool is very clean and a good bonus for the kids. The place has alarm with two inside sensors/cameras which have privacy screens so you can close them when you are at the property and open them when you leave - good privacy feature.
