“Nice hotel but with some nuances to know”

The territory was nice, green and clean. Rooms are well designed so you can fit all luggage for 4 people nicely. The kids club was super good, my daughter wanted to stay all the time and was having fun, the programme for kids was very well thought. Having a carousel nearby was also a nice surprise for families with kids. Lots of swimming pools, the water was really warm in combination with extremely friendly staff that what we liked. Hammock in the room was a great addition!

One bedroom accommodation was very spacious, well equipped and spotless. The whole resort is spotless and there are plenty of staff around the resort- all so friendly. Pool is lovely. Food in the speciality restaurants was really good. Breakfast had plenty of variety. Cannot comment on the buffet dinner as we didn't have it. Beach was lovely and clean.

Mostly very nice and friendly staff. The studio and the balcony with a hammock were fantastic and a real highlight of our stay. The Mexican food served at the hotel was delicious, while the other dishes were not as impressive. Breakfast was superb.

This was my second stay at Villa del Palmar, and it remains a high-quality resort. The staff are the hotel’s greatest strength, with a good balance between experienced professionals and younger employees, creating smooth and well-organized service. Special thanks to Vicky and her housekeeping team for their professionalism and attention to detail. The food was consistently excellent and well prepared. Room service staff were polite and respectful, and the reception team took good care of both me and my luggage. The room was brand new, comfortable, and beautiful. I stayed room-only, which suited me well, and food quality across the resort—especially lunches with fresh fish—was outstanding

This was my second stay at Villa del Palmar Luxury Resort & Spa, and overall I still rate the hotel 5 stars. A special thank you to Luis for his care, flexibility, and understanding. He treats guests with respect and genuine consideration. The hotel clearly looks after its guests when you are honest and straightforward, and that creates trust. The staff dynamic is a real strength here. There is a good balance between younger, newer employees and experienced professionals, and it works very well. The diversity among staff—across ages, nationalities, and backgrounds—is noticeable and positive. The service flow is generally smooth, and the team makes a real effort, even during busy periods. The room was brand new and beautiful, with excellent comfort. The food remains outstanding—especially lunch with fresh fish. Overall food quality is consistently high

We had a very good stay at this resort and were lucky to receive an upgrade to a suite, which was excellent. The resort was very clean, the staff were friendly and welcoming, and the amenities were outstanding, making the overall experience truly enjoyable.

Excellent, professional, and genuinely caring staff across all departments. Villa del Palmar Cancún is a family-friendly hybrid resort combining a beachfront all-inclusive experience with a vacation club / timeshare model, without affecting guest access to facilities. The resort offers a wide range of amenities: several restaurants and bars, multiple pools, beach access, spa, kids’ club, activities for both adults and children, and concierge services. The Gourmet Culinary All-Inclusive plan is well organized and delivers good food quality and variety throughout the stay. Rooms and suites are spacious, well maintained, and many have ocean views. Service feels personal and consistent, and the staff clearly go the extra mile for guests. Considering that the property and surrounding area were affected by Hurricane Otis in 2023, the level of operation, maintenance, and service is impressive. The entire team deserves recognition and tips for their efforts
