“Misleading Room Description, Poor Service Response and Multiple Issues in a 5-Star Hotel”
Key issues with the stay (Booking.com complaint summary): Booked Master Suite with Ocean View, but the room (No. 1432) had a direct lagoon view. Ocean visible only very distantly from one corner — misleading room description. Hotel staff stated this is their “internal naming” and refused to resolve the issue, directing us to contact Booking.com instead. Bathroom electrical outlets not working; only floor outlets in the hallway were functional — unacceptable for a Master Suite. Missing basic amenities (toothpaste not provided). Main room phone not working, only one phone in the bathroom. Breakfast required waiting list due to overcrowding, even for a 5-star hotel. USD pricing but USD not accepted at checkout; complex and time-consuming bank procedure required. Advertised $200 spa/massage credit included, but it was not usable due to limited staff availability and voucher access.

Very nice facilities and met our expectations. Food-wise, lots of options with some restaurants better than others, but overall very good. Staff was extremely nice and helpful. Very spacious bedroom. Beach is amazing.

Liked: -> Lots of food options, everything fresh, and chefs cooking meals right in front of you. Amazing variety of desserts and breads, plus juices and drinks. -> The entire entertainment team was incredible, and the servers in every area were quick, kind, and very friendly. -> Night events for all tastes, each space had its own vibe. -> I went to the museum that’s less than a 15-minute bus ride away. -> The restaurants sometimes have waitlists, but you get a notification on the hotel app when your table is ready. Plus, there are plenty of things to do around the hotel while you wait for your spot at any restaurant.
