The room is in an old style, very poor breakfast, I did not see worse before. The beach is nice, but I think it needs more umbrellas.

Hotel staff Jun was extremely helpful and kind. Thanks to her we were able to make the most out of our time there. We went through a very difficult and complicated family situation while there, and the manager assisted us promptly and efficiently, prioritizing our wellbeing even though the issue was not related to the hotel. All the staff was impeccable. The experience was great. The place is beautiful.

We actually ended up requesting to move to another oasis location because it was full of families and we were two single ladies but the staff were very accommodating and the food was great. Lots of options

Our booking was for the Grand Oasis, but we had a room in The Sens part (Luckily). The all inclusive bracelets had a tag to open your room. Very handy as you didn't have to bring a card along. The room was spacious and clean and had small amenities. The staff was friendly and helpful in all areas. There is a wide variety of food in the buffet and it's very good. The food in the a la carte restaurants was great as well. The other bars were also good and the coffee and ice cream bar was great. We had no issues with making reservations for the restaurants. As we had our room in the Sens part, we usually stayed at the pool and beach side of The Sens which seemed less crowded than the Grand Oasis part. In general the whole Sens part was less crowded than the Grand Oasis part was. Even if we entered the beach only at 10 am, we were able to secure beach chairs. No seaweed issue here. As we only had a room in The Sens, we were not allowed to go to some restaurants, bars and the Spa as those were 'Sens only'. The gym was very spacious and the best I have ever seen in a hotel. It's very spacious and better equipped than the average gymclub. They have a superb kids club. Very active and diverse. Crafting, playing, swimming and so on and they even take care of the lunch. The shows and activities in the hotel were also nice. Incl. The pirate ship. We were very satisfied with our stay already but on our way home, at the airport we faced a long delay with our flight and we were brought to another hotel (Emporio) where we stayed approx. 20 hours. This hotel was on our shortlist, but we were very happy that we didn't choose this hotel after all, as the Grand Oasis was better in basically all aspects in our opinion. We would like to come back to this hotel.

Booking never fixed the age of one of my children and I couldn’t check in until I paid $903.00 dollars more for the mistake booking made for the age of my child which booking put 12 and none of them were that age plus on top of what I already had paid $2,093.00for reservation and an extra charge of $105.00 for cleaning! I thought everything was included! The total I paid was $3,101.00 That’s horrible! I spoke to them & booking.com and nobody helped me! Because the resorts front desk Ivan supervisor said booking needed to contact reservations dept. At Panama and nobody answered the phone or emails there! Also on the booking website it says all inclusive 11 restaurants and it’s a lie! There are other restaurants but you need to make a reservation or pay out of pocket because they aren’t included! The only thing you can eat at is Bites & La Hacienda which is buffet all the time breakfast lunch and dinner long lines to get in and food is not good too much pork and if your allergic to eat there’s not really much to eat. And the others you need to make reservations & they’re never available unless you pay out of pocket but if you paid all inclusive and they say it’s included why should you pay extra

Overall, the hotel has a good structure. The rooms are spacious, and the outdoor area dedicated to the pool is also large. Cleaning is thorough and carried out daily. In addition, it has a strategic location for those who want to visit Isla Mujeres with the Xcaret ferry, as the departure pier is just a 5-minute walk from the resort.
