Loved everything. Spacious room. Very comfy bed. Pristinely clean. Wonderful coffee from the inroom coffee machine. Breakfast plentiful and Francesca was kind enough to ask if I wanted savoury or sweet so I asked for a bit of both. The tranquility of the surrounding mountains is balm for the soul. After reading reviews about the last bit of road I was a bit worried and expected worse. It is very short just steep but perfectly do-able so don’t worry about it - there are a few regular cars parked around the property including my own one that made it no problem. I will be back. A wonderful place to stopover.

“Spotless rooms and good location for day trips and hikes”
This is a place where you will be welcomed and your preferences catered to. The rooms are well-appointed and remarkably clean. Breakfast is served in the room and rooms are kept clean. The area has multiple hiking trails which you will be able to find on the map inside. Nearby locality of Camugnano is dubbed the “Truffle city”. Furthermore, If you are visiting with a car, Florence, Siena, Bologna, Modena, San Marino, Barberino di Mugello… and even Venice and Verona are within reasonable distance for a day’s visit. Be aware that the street in front is rather steep but there will likely be a spare spot not far from the property if you don’t have the proper tires.

“Marvellous and comfortable, there is everything you need for your stay.”
The interior design of the flat is astonishing and typical of the Italian style. The accommodation is comfortable and exceptionally clean. It is immersed in the mountains/hills and gives you a chance to relax fully.

“a cosy stay immersed in the forest”
We had a very good stay at Tana delle Fate. The house is immersed in the green, with a beautiful view. We were upgraded to a brand new apartment that was spacious and perfectly clean. All furniture and equipment were new and of good quality. The breakfast is generous and served in the beautiful patio overlooking the garden.
