The host was very welcoming and the breakfast was included and it was really amazing before we kickstarted our hike in the next day morning. On Bonus- We have been served an amazing food and also We had an amazing rooftop where we got our time to chill and see the very beautiful sunset. Overall, I would recommend it strongly.

“Avoid it like the plague. The owner was absolutely horrible and her behaviour was unprofessional, petulant & spitef”
The owner was outrageous and cancelled our booking while we were actually en route to her. We had explained that we had had a car accident that morning which had derailed the day, and so could not be there by 7pm, but would be there by 9pm. She blew up when she found out that we were joining and eating at the Halloween evening at the bar next door to her, and she left us totally stranded without a thought, just telling us to find somewhere else (this was at about 7.30pm when we were headed to her tiny mountain village). She said it was because she had prepared a meal for us (even though we had NOT requested one). Thankfully, the host of the Halloween eve was able to call a friend in the village who took us in. The owner of L’étape Bien Être also slammed her huge door on me when I approached her to explain again. She clearly has significant issues because her behaviour was so outrageous. Other villagers said that she is angry with everyone. And clearly she is envious of the kind and very warm hospitality offered at the place next door to her who were holding the Halloween soirée for the village. I have no idea what her accommodation was like because she cancelled our booking even though it was paid 100% upfront. AVOID THIS PLACE. There are other gites/chambres d’hote within the village.
