I stayed at Casa Roja for 3 nights and absolutely loved it. It's basically studio apartment with bathroom and kitchenette. Everything you need to cook ,make coffee and it's 10 min walk to old town. If I had more time I would have stayed longer for sure as Campeche is beautiful colonial town. Jose the host is super friendly and helped me to organize my trip to Edzna and to Xpujil. Highly recommend

Jose's place is amazing and he is an excellent host. We have been travelling for 5 months now and this is one of the best places we have stayed. Beautifully decorated and it has everything needed for a complete stay (kitchen facilities, bathroom, outside relaxing area etc.). Highly recommend a stay here when in Campeche.

“Lovely room and garden, great location”

I only stayed for one night - this accommodation is definitely one where you would feel comfortable for a longer time as well! It is a lovely decorated room with attention to detail and a small kitchen for preparing coffee and snacks. It is located in a quiet area from where you reach the edge of the historic city center within 15 min walking (while passing the big market which is nice, too!). The garden can be used and looks very welcoming with hammocks and seating area. José was an amazing host! He let me stay until late afternoon as the room was not booked the night after (also electricity was gone during the night until early afternoon, so I could use that time to charge my phone and stuff). He also helped me call a taxi when I struggled with my limited Spanish knowledge.

The host José was very helpful and supportive when we had problems with luggage storage. Apartment was well equipped with good A/C. And pieces of art.

We have stayed in a few accommodations in Mexico and this was by far the best and well decorated. Communication with José is super easy and very helpful. The kitchen is well equipped and the air conditioning works perfectly. You can really see the love that has gone into the decor and surroundings. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again.

Lovely little apartment, aesthetically pleasing with art, colour and knick knacks which makes for a more pleasant stay. Kitchen had what I needed. Nice to have a green garden area to look out on and sit in (with hammock and table/chairs). Good natural light. Convenient location, short walking distance to everything. Great host, good vibes, free hime made cider!

The rooms in this little place are beautiful decorated and you can still feel the vibes of the colonial house. The owner, José, is a very nice person who will do everything for you to feel welcome. It is a place where you will not regret staying in. Plus, you should buy and taste the cider that he prepares, they are goooooood.
