“Great stay with fabulous people”

I had a great time at Mina's house. Without hesitation I was transferred to the nicest room they have, with a big private terrace and nice view. The room is equipped with a water cooler and hot water for coffee. Marcy and her husband were lovely and fulfilled every wish I had. Mina, the owner, helped me out in a embarrassing situation without giving me a bad feeling at all and without asking anything. Thank you again for a great experience staying with the most friendly people.

Our stay at this villa was amazing, i wish we stayed longer! Room was big enough and equipped with everything.. wifi, fridge, ac, fan, shampoo, water, beach towels.. It was really quiet at night and we slept really well. Location is amazing, few steps from a "private" beach, 5mins from a hostel at the main road that serves food, and 6-7 min from the beautiful Santiago beach that has multiple nice restaurants.. It's a really chill and quiet place, great for relaxing. You can rent a scooter from them and it's new and in a really good condition, easy to drive. They also give you helmets. Pool is amazing, we spent hours swimming and looking at the beach.. Also staff is really kind and helpful. We enjoyed our stay and we'll definitely return to this amazing Villa.. the island is really beautiful and not touristy yet. I recommend!! :)

“Good money value”

I stayed there for 1 week. The owners and workers are very attentive. If you have any need, they will do their best to help you. Their almost private beach is directly accessible from the garden. The swimming is in front of the sea, the view is amazing.

Everything was great.Great host lovely setting.Nothing to much trouble for them.Very helpful would not hesitate in recommending it.

“Dream location in a dream island...”

The small cozy apartment is located in a dream location featuring an amazing tropical garden, a nice and well kept infinity pool and access to a beautiful private beach. The keepers, Mercy and Oppa (who, among other qualities, masters gardening art), are very supportive and provide a prompt answer to every need you might have, so as to make the stay more enjoyable. For a reasonable fee you are picked up and dropped by them at Consuelo Port, you can rent an almost brand new scooter for a trip around, you can have laundry service, and so on.... Perfect solution either for a short stay on the way to other destinations or for a relaxing staycation.

10/10 Amazing place, amazing couple Who work in the place and also the dogs Hershay and Browny. Best services, views, rooms, ambiance, best caretakers. Over all 10/10.

Everything was perfect. Beautiful quiet location. Few steps down and you are at a secluded beach spot. Wifi is great, which was very important for remote work.

Access to private clear beach, good pool, very friendly and helpful staff. Location close to good restaurants. Definitely would recommend the place and Camotes in general, so calm and beautiful island.

“Lovely stay on a beautiful island”

Lovely villa complex with super pool and steps down to a private beach. The housekeeping staff are so friendly, kind and helpful. Nearly new scooters available for hire at the premises. The Camotes islands are really quiet and untouristy, with lots of agriculture and small village communities. The Santiago Bay Resort restaurant does good and cheap food and drinks, and is only 2 minutes away on a scooter

“Easily one of the best places we have stayed in in the Philippines”

Everything. The owners were so nice and helpful and had the two most amazing dogs! We extended our stay from 2 to 3 night almost right away. The room was clean with a nice bathroom. We even had our own water dispenser in the room. Outdoor area was so beautiful and we spent a lot of our time here. Luckily for us we were the only people here, so we had it all to our self.

The hotel was great as the room had everything I needed.owners were super friendly and helpful as I rented I nice scotter from them.the dogs were nice as well. Nice pool and beautiful view as well,WiFi worked great.

“It felt like staying in our own mansion”

It is beautiful place with a refreshing and relaxing pool, we swam twice a day everyday. Drinking water supplied in the room as well as instant hot water. Mercy and Oppa the caretakers are so kind and thoughtfull, welcome cold drink was a fantastic and also gave us fresh and sweetest papaya and smoothie. The easy walk to restaurants, shops and bakery is only 5-10 mins away.

“Beautifully quiet and relaxing”

If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing stay away from the crowd, this is the right place. Villa Camotes has amazing sea views, a very well kept swimming pool and lounges, and lovely hosts. It felt like we had the place to ourselves most of the time! Mercy and Oppa made us feel at home and made us a delicious breakfast to enjoy on the terrace every morning, they are both very attentive and go out of their way to make sure you have everything you need. The property has Starlink wifi throughout, including around the pool area. Although the villa is tucked away and not in the centre of the island, you still have a few food options a short walk away. One is the restaurant at the Santiago Bay Garden Resort, only 15 mins away on foot and they do very large portions at really reasonable prices. Another is the Backpacker Hostel, located close by - it takes orders through Facebook and delivers directly to the villa so you can eat at home. If you want to explore the island and drive to the centre, you can rent a scooter directly from the Villa. There is a small beach accessible from the villa, which is very quiet and only used by a few locals who live nearby. The snorkeling off the beach is also very good and we spent hours in the water exploring. The Nook room is on the smaller side but comfortable and very clean. It was great to have a fresh water dispenser for both normal and hot water in the room. The only thing that could use some improvement is the aircon in the room (the air coming out is cold but for some reason that room does not get very cold, so you will need to keep the fan on too). The hosts' dogs, Brownie and Hershey, were very friendly and kept us company during most of our stay!

The sweetest and biggest thanks to the two lovely hosts, Mercy and Oppa. They are just exceptionally sweet and warm and made me feel very welcome.

“Beautiful stay, absolutely recommended”

The accomation is basically a room in a big property with different rooms/houses. We were in a separate room with private bathroom. The room was very clean as well as the rest of the property and the beautiful garden. The pool is just super beautiful and there is a provate access to the best beach in the island! The house keepers (a couple of Filippinos) are super sweet and present if you need anything.
