“A charming rustic retreat off the beaten track”
The beauty of this cove and the view from the bedroom was breathtaking. A small but perfectly formed apartment. Was great to have use of the paddle boards and small boat for fun in the sea. The accommodation was spotless, simple and comfortable, providing just what you need for unwinding and relaxing. We visited with our two children (12 &15) who shared the large size sofa bed, (very comfortable) in the kitchen/dining space. There is also Aircon in all rooms which was much appreciated in the heat. In the evening you virtually have the cove to yourself after the tourist boats leave, and you are left with the soothing sound of the waves as you fall asleep. Travel light and ideally with it in a backpack as reaching this gem is only on foot or by boat and once you disembark the boat there are windy paths with many steps. Emanuela was the kindest host who offered guidance and support as needed, it felt like nothing was too much trouble. Expect slightly more pricey menus compared to Camogli as everything has to be shipped in to this cove. Bring the essentials you need from the mainland as there are no shops if you forget these and arrive after the boats have ceased.
