This modern apartment was in walking distance to town. New bathroom and kitchen. It was lovely being able to place the car in the garage. Lovely having a dishwasher.

Excellent location being so close to town. Very private backyard and plenty of room for the family. Great response from host and very accommodating of our extra vehicle. Very clean and comfortable. Cute little chocolate treat.

Location was great. We really enjoyed the covered verandah for showery days. Really nice toiletries in the bathroom. Convenient for both a supermarket and a lovely river walk.

We loved the set up of the house, very comfortable and feels like a home away from home. Love that it is so close to town and the river. The sunroom is an added bonus with amazing views of the sunset.

“Cosy cottage, very relaxing, close to shops and handy for day trips.”
We stayed 7 nights in this lovely house and used it as a base for day trips to Hobbiton (only 30mins away), Tauranga, Rotorua, Blue Spring and National Kiwi Hatchery. (We could have used it as a base for Waitomo Cave too.) It has a gorgeous glass sun room with stunning views. I enjoyed reading a book and thoroughly relaxing on the long summer evenings - nice sunsets. The kitchen is fantastic and it’s handy to have a laundry. The TV is a good size for movie watching. It was a lovely touch to have a little Christmas tree with lights. We are a family of four with two young adult sons and we had plenty of room. Beds were comfy and the shower was good. If you’re staying in NZ for a little while get a New World Supermarket app to get the Club Discounts, this saved quite a bit of money. (Special thank you to the owners as we left a jumper on the washing line and they found it and we came back to collect it on our return to the airport.)

It was lovely and clean. Great location. Great view. Love the few extra touches - cereal/choc bars/milk etc provided and the xmas decorations 😀. I would def stay there again.
