Our hosts were wonderfully welcoming. They were great company. Had some lovely chats by the fire and found out all about the house and its history. It was also really special to have the hamam after a long day's drive. Would definitely recommend!

Healthy and delicious breakfast. The best we ever had in France served on a the terace with stunning view. Even electric charing of my car was provided. Most of all it's Bernard and Caro who were very frindly and sympatic hosts.

Caroline and Benoit are warm, friendly and make a fantastic breakfast overlooking the spectacular morning views. The chateau is beautiful - a mixture of old and modern surrounded by vineyards - the grounds and pool are gorgeous, and we had a brilliant few days exploring the region. Nessy the family dog is a highlight too ;)

A wonderful stay! The hosts were lovely, making us feel at home and always on hand to give us useful info about the area, wine, restaurants etc. Also, not to forget their wonderful dog Nessy!! Brilliant homemade breakfast with a fantastic view of the French countryside.

-Beautifully restored chateau; our room was gorgeous -Caroline & Benoit were fantastic welcoming hosts who went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay, they also spoke English which was a bonus for me! -Loved the pool, the views were magnificent and the deck adjacent to our room for relaxing -Great location as a base to visit Bordeaux and the surrounding region -Delicious French breakfasts every morning; French hospitality at its finest! -Cute dog Nessy who was very well behaved -We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 day holiday at this property and highly recommend this property.

We never thought we would feel at home in a chateau but our hosts, Caroline and Benoit made us feel so welcome in their beautiful home. Everything was perfect- the comfortable accommodation with immaculate linen, the delicious breakfasts and our interesting and amusing conversations with our hosts and other guests. We loved our stay there and would definitely book there again.

Caro, Benoit and Nessy are exceptional hosts. In my 3 nights stay @Chateau du Tasta they helped me with my restaurant, beach, wine tasting,... choices. Furthermore, we had good chats about life and wine ;) I could go on and on but I would recommend you visit this exceptional place by yourself and find peace like me ;) florian

Fantastic stay in a beautiful château with fantastic hosts! From the moment we arrived, Caroline & Benoit were so warm and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble, and they assisted us in everything from dinner recommendations, to days out and tips on how to get the most out of our trip. Breakfast every morning was delicious, the facilities were excellent and the views outstanding. The room itself was lovely, comfortable and everything we needed for our stay. The château is perfectly located, just a short drive into Bordeaux itself and with easy access to Arcachon for a day at the beach.

Amazing location, beautiful terrace, super welcoming hosts. The room was big and we had direct access to the terrace with a view. Fantastic breakfast cooked by the host! We felt at home.

Such a beautiful and unique house in the middle of the vineyards. We were made to feel very welcome, with helpful recommendations shared for dinner and a delicious breakfast in the morning.

“Stop looking and book”

It was one of the best stays we have ever had. If I could give it an 11, I would. We had to be in the region for a wedding and decided to go a bit earlier and spend some time near Bordeaux. We stayed for 4 nights and had to work during the day, but planned to jump in the pool in between and stop a bit earlier so we could go to Bordeaux or have a nice dinner in the area. A small summary of the positive things that stood out: - The owners of the Chateau are at the top of the list (together with the sweetest dog Nessy, who is constantly happy to see you). They were very attentative, friendly, open for a talk, and constantly made sure we had everything we needed (without being in our way). They are well-connected and therefore good at helping decide what nice places we could go to for dinner. - The location is beautiful and was even better than expected. It is remote and in the middle of vineyards (you have to drive through one to get to the chateau). It has an amazing view over the grape-fields and in the near distance some small towns with old churchtowers sticking out. Bordeaux was a small drive away (about 20 min) and there is a large supermarket only 2km from the chateau. - The room was great and very comfortable. We were in the 'modern room' which is what it was indeed. It is like the pictures and perfectly fine / clean / comfortable (incl an air fan for the hot nights and a mosquito device that worked surprisingly well). - The breakfast deserves a mention on its own. It was amazing. It was prepared specifically for us each day with also a wide selection. It was so good that we had to try from everything. All in all, we have never felt so bad about leaving a place. I would not mind moving in with them, also so I can play with Nessy more.
