After travelling over a month in Brasil I can say this is one of the best hostels I have been to. The kitchen is big and well equipped, the living room is spacious, bright and well maintained (which makes the difference in rainy days!) and the rooms are tidy and cosy. The owner is super nice and the volunteers Bruno and Maria also helped a lot with suggestions. Cherry on top: at the back there are herbs you can use in the kitchen (mint, majorana, citronella,..). I also heard great things about the buffet breakfast offered in partnership with the cafeteria flor de anis, but I did not try it myself. The location is perfect and beyond the canyons, Cambarà has some real gems, like the tio frança waterfall (only open on weekends, fee upon entrance) which are worth a visit!

The room was incredibly comfortable and had wonderful personality to it. It was also great to be able to use a kitchen with such great facilities. The host was very helpful with everything I needed and incredibly responsive

We had a lovely stay at Pousada Cape Town! Renata was really welcoming, and we loved the dog and being able to pick herbs from the garden! Amazing value and location, great kitchen and super cosy.

Really nice hostel and staff. Good rooms for the price, central in the small town. In general you should spend several days here, Cambara is a hidden gem. Hardly any travellers, authentic gaucho culture and beautiful nature.
