Very friendly run by a family. Excellent laid back vibe welcome change from touristy stuff. Next to bus stop. Hostel is a bit basic so won't suit everybody. There's a kitchen too with a microwave which was unexpected bonus. Lovely balcony and outlook if you get a room on the sunny side of the building.

The owner of the property was so kind and friendly, also very helpful. I arrived late because of the flight delay. I called the owner and he came in ten minutes to give me the key. The room was tidy and comfortable. The bathroom was also clean and every day there was a cleaning service. The property is not near the city center and you need to take a bus if you do not have your own car. It is very close to the beach. There are supermarkets, restaurants, and cafes nearby.

It is professionally run pension property with all details attended. One truly feels that hosts want their guests be comfortable. Pension format means economy but hosts managed to save only where there is no compromise for guests. Beds and matraces are very good - I have slept like a baby :) Everything is very clean. Bed sheets and towels are changed as needed without asking. I would give this property as an example how hospitality business should be run.

This is our third stay at this property - that should tell you how highly we rate El Hidalgo. The rooms and beds are extremely comfortable, we had a sea view, a small terrace, and an excellent reception from the owners. Will we go back again. For sure we will.
