“Lovely modern hotel in a nice setting”
Very nice hotel, clean and spacious room, very luxurious bathroom. Breakfast was spectacular with choices of continental and also hot. Large sofa bed for our 10 year old but would have fitted 2 Would for sure stay again

A nice 3-star hotel with a heated pool and a small kids' club. The staff is welcoming and polite. We got two connecting rooms with a balcony facing the Olt River The hotel restaurant was good

Amazing location, right next to river Olt! Very clean and fancy rooms, very nice staff, great spa services and very nice staff! Also bonus points for the lady who does the massage services in the hotel, she is a true pro! Must visit!

“Welcoming staff, good facilities. Tasteful and diverse breakfast. First class massages”
It was our second stay at River Hotel&Spa. We had a warm welcome by the reception staff and they always had time to attend to our needs and answer questions regarding the facilities. The rooms are clean and the beds soft. The pool and saunas are easily accessible and well maintained. Breakfast is a blast, diverse and tasty. Good restaurant food served by smiling waitresses. We booked several massages during our stay and we were lucky enough to be attended by Mrs. Maria as the masseuse. My mom has an advanced stage of osteoporosis, this being one of the reasons we went to the healing spring waters of Călimănești. Mrs. Maria's experience in the art of massage healed a shoulder pain my mom was having for the past 6 months, and we are very grateful for that. Now we know where we will book our next holiday.

“Awesome hotel.”
Nice, clean hotel with great amenities and staff. Excellent breakfast and a la carte food. Professional and extremely helpful staff. Beautiful location right by the river. Suggestions: • Implement a loyalty/membership program, with perks for loyal customers • Implement a pool towels exchange program (if you stay late and your towel is wet, there is no way to exchange it and it will still be wet when you go back in the morning)

The hotel is a hidden gem of this area: well maintained, great location, geothermal swimming pool (great size also), parking and a good restaurant.
