Hotel Kaktus Playa is just 200 metres from Calella beach, and has an outdoor swimming pool with sun terrace. “Great hotel with friendly staff”
Staff were very professional friendly helpful and kind. Reception was always maned. All areas were clean and well maintained. Pool was exceptionally clean and welcoming as was jacuzzi. Room and bed were extremely specious.

“Really enjoyable one-night vacation”
The outside pool is a good size with a nice outdoor jacuzzi on an additional level. I liked the seating in the pool area and the bar service at the pool. We also enjoyed the indoor spa for a reservation time of one hour with limited capacity so it was quiet and peaceful.

Room a good size, amazing breakfast really super good - especially if you want to eat healthily. Bed a little hard and lumpy for me, great spot to get to all the Ironman events from and an easy walk into the old town or the main square. Staff very helpful, friendly and genuinely seemed to be proud of their Ironman competitors (we were spectators). About 20 minutes from the station, which is worth noting - it was convenient for us. Hard to get to with a late flight though we had to get a taxi. Pool and poolside lovely.

“It was just what we needed for staying the weekend for the Ironman.”
We were staying in the hotel at the weekend because my son was taking part in the Ironman. It was the perfect hotel - comfortable, great location; staff were very friendly, and the rooms were a good size.
