Gianni was a wonderful host . Plenty of space , close to the town of Callasata . We enjoy the peace and quite of the place not to mention of the great company of very friendly Labrador called Nerone .

Lovely shady dining table at the back, room for all the guests, breakfast served there in the mornings, space to drink and chat in the evenings. Use of kitchen and fridge. Washing line. Lots of green space outside the house. Host Giovanni speaks great English and is very knowledgeable about local history and culture, will make restaurant recommendations and reservations. He loves to have company and talk. You can walk into town in the evening and there are good beaches nearby. You can also catch a ferry to San Pietro Island and the very charming port of Carloforte. There are interesting museums in Sant Antiocho.

For those looking to explore the deep southwest of Sardinia, B&B Bella Calasetta is the perfect choice. Thanks to the warm hospitality and inviting atmosphere, I immediately felt at ease. The property is tastefully decorated, with pleasant open spaces as well as numerous areas for relaxation. The fenced grounds are expansive, with free parking available. There's a communal refrigerator for guests and a lovely outdoor area with plenty of seating for relaxation. The room is very clean and comes with a private bathroom, TV, air conditioning, and additional window screens for insect protection. Beautiful beaches are nearby. For culture and city history, you have the picturesque towns of Calasetta and Sant'Antioco. Host Gianni is an amiable and helpful host who takes attentive care of his guests. Gianni greets his guests with a delicious homemade Mirto and takes the opportunity to share the history and stories of the people of this peninsula. It's fascinating to listen to him. Whether it's excursions or great restaurants, he always has the perfect recommendation. His four-legged companion Nerone is a playful and friendly Labrador who gets along well with people and remains discreet due to his excellent obedience. A heartfelt thank you to Gianni from the Bed & Breakfast for this wonderful time. Regarding the surroundings: If you are, like me, seeking beautiful dog-friendly beaches as their destination, "Wild Wind Sardinia" at Is Salinas Beach is the place to be, towards Porto Pino. White beach, crystal clear water, nice sand dunes and a spacious parking lot. On your way to the beach, you might even spot flamingos.

We had the most amazing stay in Calasetta. From the moment we arrived Giovanni was extremely welcoming and hospitable. He told us everything we needed to know and we spent a lovely evening with him and his family. The b&b itself is lovely, clean and within walking distance to everything.
