“Big Group Stay”

the rooms were really nice and clean. I enjoyed that you can see the Nile River from the communal room. the view from the rooms were also quite nice. It was located very well downtown. Everything was close by that we needed. Definitely recommended for a big group! The breakfast was also really good.

“Great choice for a solo traveler”

The hostel is in an excellent location, close to the downtown and all amenities, within walking distance of go bus station also, which makes everything much easier. My stay there was pleasant—the staff were friendly and welcoming, willing to help you organise whatever you need... it was clean, quiet and the bed was comfortable. All in all, it offers great value for the money.

Nice place. It's close to everything, including the old Egyptian museum, and located in the center of the city. It’s only a 5-minute walk to the bus station. The staff is very welcoming and helpful.

Cleaning seems to be a disability, for all those there, cats and cat piss spray smell, but location good

“Nice staff, central location with breakfast and good value for money”

Hussein and Mohammed attended us from 1st day very good! The Hostel is 24 hours open. We had a nice big room on a high floor with views of the city and the river Nilo. Good breakfast. We had the train in the evening and could leave our baggage in the hostel to be pickup later without any problem. Thanks for your hospitality. I will recommend you! Regards

The room is clean, tidy and has the most important facilities. Staff is kind and hospitality is great.

The hostel is nice for a short stopover in Cairo. The staff are very kind and extremely helpful. We arrived late after midnight, checked in early, and left early as well, and they were very understanding.

The owner, Shehab, was very responsive to all my queries and genuinely kind. The staff were all wonderful especially the manager, Ahmed, who was extremely helpful and always smiling. I will never forget the coffee he gave me as a gift, it meant a lot. If I ever come back to Egypt, I will definitely stay at Wake Up Hostel again. They truly care about their guests, from airport pickup to tours, everything was well organized. It was the best experience, and we enjoyed it so much.

Really cheap and nice place, pretty close to the main square and the downtown. The staff Is helpful, friendly and welcoming, the room Is cozy and the view from the tenth floor Is Just astonishing. The place is clean and the services satisfying. I strongly recommend it for a short holiday in the capital.
