A big thank you to Tân and the truely lovely ladies and gentlemen at the Homestay. The tranquil atmosphere was a perfect antidote to clamour of Ho Chi Minh City. We were made to feel nothing was too much trouble.

“Amazing if you're looking for some relax time in nature.”

The garden is amazing to calm down, stretch, draw, read or have a little work session. There is almost nothing in the surrounding, which was exactly what we were looking for - a remote escape with a lot of nature! Everyone working there was very attentive and we enjoyed great hospitality. They also have a motorbike rental which was like 5€ for 6 hours per bike - great to explore the area around.

The homestay is clean, calm situated, beautiful, and offers many great services. Like free bicycle rental, 50 ccm scooter rental for a fair price, laundry service, fresh fruits/coconuts and very good food and drinks. Every single employer is super friendly and helpful. But what really made the stay a 10/10 for me was the employee Loi who really stood out from my recent experiences in hotels and homestays. The service and help where top notch, thank you Loi!

We had a wonderful 7 night stay .The lady and the young man were excellent. They were very helpful and always had a warm welcome for us when we came back from a day out. They hire motorcycles which are in very good condition. I can not express enough how wonderful Go Ghanh Homestay is . The location is great for exploring the Mekong delta. And the value for money was superb. If you want a beautiful country, retreat with beautiful gardens, then I would highly recommend staying here 😊 Neil and Thuy

“Relaxing atmosphere and lovely people”

Set in a nice garden, with canals running through. The bungalow was nice, with a good air conditioning and the people running the place are very kind and friendly. They don’t speak English but we communicated well with the translator. Free bicycles to explore the surrounding villages.

Peace and quiet, nature, and incredibly friendly and helpful staff (although it would be more accurate to say "the family we had the opportunity to stay with" instead of "staff"). I highly recommend it, and if I have the opportunity to visit this area again, I will definitely come back.

“Great”

Peaceful place in the middle of nature. The staff and owner a lovely people. Rooms are cosy and clean, with everything you need. There are bicycles for free and scooters for rent to get around. Perfect to take a break from busy HCMC and to make day-trips. Street-food and a small market area are in walking distance. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend this homestay!

I loved the peace, the quiet atmosphere, and, most of all, the staff. Duy, the receptionist, and Loi, the housekeeper, took care of me with great kindness, professionalism, and hospitality.

“Nice countryside for exploring by bikes.”

Lovely well maintained clean garden and ponds, quiet and peacefull setting, big bright deluxe room with 2 big confortable beds, fridge, good wifi, fan and aircon, with large outside sitting area. Absolutely delightfull staff, always smiling and willing to help!! The homestay is about 1,5 km from a small town with a small market but otherwise very limited services, only 1 full serviced restaurant, a couple of soup places and small outdoor eateries. Breakfast and supper were available at the homestay but it was very limited in choices during our stay. We enjoyed biking in the lovely countryside every day. People were very friendly in town, patient with our necessary use of google translate. Nice place for a short stay, offering good value but limited services, for people with travelling experience(as you are off the beaten track) who want to spend a few days quietly exploring the countryside by bike.

Staff were incredibly welcoming and warm. Cooked us a fantastic meal. When we had to leave really early in the morning for a tour, they had no problem getting up to open the gate for us. Also, they had a family birthday and welcomed us to their amazing party and introduced us to all the family and friends. The property is beautiful, too.

“Beautiful green gardens and lovely staff - a great place to relax”

The family who runs this homestay and all their staff are lovely, kind and helpful. Google translate helps with communication. Beautiful gardens with lots of peaceful green shady spaces to relax in - many of them covered so you can sit out even in the rain. Flowers, fruit trees, fish, frogs, birds, butterflies and geckos. The bungalows themselves are well designed and pretty both inside and out. I booked a large one (for one person) as I was planning to be here for a week and didn't want to feel cramped. In reality, given how much outside space there is, that wasn't necessary but it was nice to have the bigger space. Comfortable beds and quiet aircon but one thing I really liked about this place is that it had wall fans, so I found I didn't need the aicon at all. There's a shared kitchen area if you need it and a fridge in each room (I had misunderstood the description and expected a private kitchen area). There's some nice roads for cycling around here and there's a local village with a market about 10 minutes walk away. It's true there aren't many options for eating close by, but there's a good vegan restaurant just a couple of minutes walk away (open 6am - 11am so good for breakfast or early lunch) and the lady here cooked for me every evening - she made sure I never had to have the same thing twice. The restaurant/cafe here is open all day but it's probably best to ask in advance if you want food preparing. Twice a week they have music events with local performers so if you're here on a Wednesday or Friday you can see some traditional music as well. On the last day, the owner took me himself to the pick up point for my onwards transfer. Thank you!

“magical”

I couldn’t recommend this place more. The rooms are great, clean and peaceful. The family are wonderful, they even let us use their kitchen to cook meals and offered tips for vietnamese meals, cooking with us and sharing meals. The place is slightly further out, but the quiet is what you really should experience in the Mekong Delta anyway
