Beautiful Vietnamese house located in a quiet area.

The owner was very nice and helpful. - Hot water! In all the hotels we booked in Vietnam so far, there was no hot water and we had to ask for it. Here, we had it directly. - The house is near the Mekong river in a garden, so there are mosquitos and some other insect. However the bed had a mosquito net so we were safe. - There is a small "kitchen" where we could make a tea or so (even though we didn't use it). - A member of the family drove us to the bus station after our stay (we had to pay but it was very helpful as there are no direct buses there from Cai Be). - Even though we didn't see the floating markets (see explanation in negative points), we had a nice time in Cai Be. The people here are very nice and we can recommend stopping here.

A very clean and spacious house, with a comfortable outside area in a very nice , leafy part of Cai Be, we did very nice walks through narrow paths off the main street, tiny canals in people’s gardens, an unexpected school in the middle of maize of small paths, one feels that the jungle starts just behind this part of the city. There is also a very neat restaurant with AC room next door.

First of all, the property was very well located. Next to the Cai Be Market and the Mekong. The property itself was spacious, clean and very comfortable. It had al the necessary amenities and came with free water bottles, soap, towels and paper. Second, our host was really nice. She organised everything we needed, the tour in the Mekong and the transport. Her knowing how to speak English was a great help in trying to navigate local buses and timetables. She even came to pick us up when we were left stranded in the highway. Overall a great experience!
