Overview
Cul Draiochta is a spacious bed and breakfast in Cahersiveen, County Kerry, with beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and mountain landscape. The property has its own large, landscaped gardens, a conservatory and TV/reading room, private parking and free Wi-Fi. Every room at Cul Draiochta has an en suite bathroom with power shower, an orthopaedic bed, TV and tea and coffee facilities. There are family rooms, and extra beds can be provided for an additional charge. An extensive breakfast menu features a buffet of cereals, juice and fruit, as well as cooked dishes including a full Irish breakfast and vegetarian options. The guest house can also provide packed lunches. Cahersiveen’s spectacular mountain scenery makes it a popular walking destination, and the area is also known for its golf courses and deep-sea angling. On Ireland’s south west coast, it’s also around 1 hour’s drive from Killarney National Park, and several local beaches are less than 30 minutes away.

Gorgeous lodge, great location, beautifully decorated, staff were lovely. The view from the room was superb. It was nice and quiet and we got a good sleep. The lodge was very clean and cosy. We enjoyed the breakfast. But the best thing we liked was the friendly and excellent staff, they are absolutely fantastic. We will be back. Katalin, Balazs

We loved staying here. Ann and Ian were lovely hosts. So helpful and friendly with plenty of advice and information about the local area. The room was very clean and comfortable, with a very good bed. Delicious breakfast. We will be back next year, to stay longer.

A very welcoming and comfortable place with a beautiful view and a splendid location close to many gorgeous and interesting places, such as nearby Valentia Island. The hosts were very nice and the breakfast was very good as well.

“A very pleasant stay in B&B with a homely atmosphere and extremely friendly owners”
Extremely friendly and accommodating owners. It really makes a difference. We walked along the Kerry Way for a few days and it rained heavily just before we came at our accommodation, so we were completely soaked. The owners dried all our wet clothes by the next morning. After arriving at the accommodation and drying off, we were given tea, coffee, and cookies, and we sat down with the owners and chatted. And because it was raining outside, the owner drove us to a nearby restaurant and lent us an umbrella for the way back. We were really thrilled with the kindness and help we received. Rooms were very nice and we have got an excellent breakfast. In addition to the usual breakfast options, we were served a fruit salad made from fresh fruit, which was a great option for us considering that some of us are vegans or vegetarians. It was an excellent stay, and we would love to stay again when visiting Cahersiveen.

Very friendly and helpful hosts, wonderful place to stay, with great breakfast, comfy beds, big bathroom and everything you need. It takes about 15 min to walk to the city. Restaurants around.

I absolutely loved the owners of the B&B. They looked so well after us and we had a very warm welcome. We were on our bicycles and we got the electric one free recharged back the next morning!
