Overview
Wine tasting sessions, a chef-designed menu and an outdoor swimming pool can be enjoyed at the luxurious Casa de la Bodega in the Calchaqui Valley. The lodge has elegant colonial 4-star style with red tiled floors, stone and dark wood decoration details. The hotel boasts an exclusive cellar where wine tasting courses are offered. All rooms feature spa baths and, some of them have balconies with a deck area that invite to breakfast in the room with a view of the vineyards. There is a minibar, air conditioning and central heating. The restaurant serves gourmet specialties with regional products. There are plenty of outdoor seating areas to enjoy a drink in the sunset and a BBQ area to prepare Argentine-style grilled meat. The tour desk is ready to arrange trips to the Colorado River Falls, Cafayate City or the Quilmes ruins. Free private parking is offered.

The two story bodega was cute. The room was large and the view off the balcony was great. The front receptionist was very helpful. And the mini wine tour & tasting was great.

We stayed in the suite, it was a beautiful, clean and huge room with views over the Cafayate rocks. The food at dinner was incredible, and the service was top notch. The waitress, who was also working reception earlier, made us feel so welcome and at home. You can really feel the care they put into everything, from the robes, the complimentary wine on arrival and the fantastic breakfast. It is so incredibly peaceful, you can see the stars at night in total silence and similarly enjoy the pool with just the sounds of nature during the day. We would 1000% stay here again, it was my partner’s birthday and they accommodated us so well.

The hotel general manager was great. she provided us a small food board when we arrived outside of lunch hours and a wine tasting. We really enjoyed our dinner too & thought it was well prepared.

Lovely secluded property - pool area has been renovated and lovely to spend the afternoon sitting there. Wine tour included and a lovely ambience about the place.

Breakfast was average and our evening meal was ok. Ordering dinner when you have just arrived was a bit strange but can understand the reason. The view from the grounds overlooking the vineyards to the Rocky Mountains was lovely.

We had an amazing stay! Room was huge, very comfortable with all the necessary amenities, l very friendly and helpful staff, we were treated very nicely.. The Wine tasting tour free of charge was a nice surprise. Surroundings are very pretty, swimming pool cosy, very good breakfast with a lot of choices. Would definitely recommend!

The service: They asked me to choose the dinner 2 hours before. At the moment of dinner they didn't had stock, so I couldn't eat. Poor selection of drinks The common toilet was broken and had no toilet paper. They answered me via whatsapp with AI response, and then they don't respect what they promise

“Nice low key place”
Set in a vineyard in a quiet location about 20 minutes drive from Cafayate. Beautiful peaceful surroundings. We were greeted with a taste of wine when we arrived and given a wine tour and tasting later that afternoon. The room was spacious and comfortable. The hosts were very helpful and welcoming.

The hotel and grounds were beautiful. We had a balcony to sit and drink wine overlooking the vineyards where it was made. We thought the breakfast was great and can't understand the other negative reviews on this. It was one of the most varied breakfasts we've had in Argentina. The hotel is luxurious for a very reasonable price. The restaurant for dinner is pretty good, given you're staying in the middle of the mountains.
