Overview
Located a 4-minute drive from Caen Memorial, Première Classe Caen Nord – Mémorial-XML offers a terrace and free Wi-Fi access in the entire hotel. The Landing Beaches are a 20-minute drive away. Accessed by an elevator, all rooms are simply decorated and feature a flat-screen TV and an alarm clock. They are complete with an en suite bathroom. A buffet breakfast is served every day and newspapers are available daily for guests to read. Typical French restaurants can be found a 10-minute drive away in the centre of Caen. The N814 motorway is ideally located a 7-minute drive away and the N13 is 4.5 km from the air-conditioned hotel. Free private parking is possible on site.

I am giving 2 stars only because the breakfast—while very limited and lacking options—was at least fresh, and the gentleman working there was very kind. Otherwise, this is by far the worst hotel I have ever stayed at.

Great location, friendly staff and plenty of nearby options for places to eat. We booked 2 rooms and the staff at the hotel identified we were a family so they changed our room to interconnect with each other.

“No food at the inn”
I The hotel irself was comfortable but the room was very cramped. My dog had to sleep on the bed as there was no floor space for him

“Good price & great for access to the ferry port .”
Very convenient for a one-night stay: easy access to Caen ferry port. Our room was small but comfortable & fit for purpose. We left early so did not have breakfast. It’s an easy drive into Caen & there’s also a very good pizza place within 4kms (L’Artigiano) for a quick supper.

“Gréât place for a cheap n cheerful stopover on a touring holiday”
Access all hours- I was looking for a cheap n cheerful (and clean) place as our ferry docked at 10pm and with customs I knew we wouldn’t be checking in till late and getting off c 6.30am so cleanliness, and access were my main priorities. I was happily surprised on both counts, the rooms were basic but spotless, the bathroom was great with a good shower and towels etc. Excellent value for money for a stopover sleep.

“Very comfortable clean hotel at a fantastic price.”
Being fairly cheap we didn’t have any great expectations but was very surprised at how good and clean the hotel was. The breakfast was good and parking was very secure which being on motorbikes was essential. The room was big enough and the bathroom was a good size and very clean.

“SORT OUT CHECK IN PANEL ETC.”
THE UPGRADED ROOM, COMPARED WITH OTHER PREMIERE CLASSE HOTELS, WAS VERY WELCOMING. MODERN, CLEAN, SPACIOUS. GOOD SIZE CAR PARK SPACES. LIFT INSTEAD OF STAIRS.
