“Value for money”
I stayed at the Carline several years ago and was delighted on returning this year to find its standards remain as high today as they did then. Clea. Rooms, comfy beds, great shower and fab breakfast.

“Agreeable budget option, GREAT staff, poor details”
After we'd finally found it, the hotel was absolutely great. Nicely presented inside, attentive staff, bright breakfast room with plenty of options, room very nice with comfy bed. Very happy to see grilled bacon and scrambled eggs on the breakfast menu, but the fruit was very aged.

“Excellent hotel for touring the Normandy area”
Good location on outskirts of Caen with free parking. Pleasant staff. Very comfortable bed. Modern en-suite with fluffy white towels. The bedroom window could be opened so no need for the aircon. Extensive selection of food at breakfast buffet. We had a good dinner on both nights.

The hotel is situated in centre of caen. It was very easy to access by public transport thar stops in front of the hotel. The hotel was very quiet with good breakfast, comfortable beds and free parking We had a family room with double bed and single which was perfect. The staff was friendly

Facilities were good, bar and lounge, nice welcome, beds comfy and good buffet breakfast, worth the money. Grassed areas around for walking the dog. Quiet at night.

“Excellent stay with superb staff.”
The staff, particularly reception, were excellent as I had no idea when my husband would be discharged from hospital so they kept giving me options on the next night. The restaurant was superb and very reasonable just 13 euros for a main meal.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Lovely welcoming seating area with tastefully designed interior and furniture. Rooms were well thought out and designed for comfort and practical use.
