Very welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. The garden was excellent. The parking was fine. A great effort was made for our breakfast. All in all a very good stay.

Breakfast was lovely and fresh continental style, bread, croissants, yoghurt and compote, cereal served with your choice of a pot of coffee or tea. The owners were extremely friendly and helpful, advising on where to eat. The guest house has it’s own lovely garden with table and chairs, which we used to watch the sun go down. Only a 10 minute drive from the Caen Memorial and 25 minutes away from the ferry port of Ouistreham, it was well placed for us, although not in the centre of the city. The room is a very good size and has it’s own shower room and toilet, there is a small table and chairs also in the room. Just outside the room is the roomy entrance, which also doubles as a small eating area, and is where breakfast is served. There is a small fridge, kettle and toaster and microwave, if you want a drink or snack. All in all a very comfortable and enjoyable couple of days here.

Both excellent, plenty of choice of breakfast items each day It was great to revisit Caen after a gap of 12 years! - Far too long! The new trams are very efficient & the old Caen stone buildings in the city look much better for stoneblasting. Our hosts have made a big effort to attract birds & insects into their eyecatching garden.
