“Extremely disappointing experience – complete lack of communication and responsibility”
I normally don’t write negative reviews, but in this case, I feel it’s necessary to warn others. After my stay, I realized I had forgotten my running shoes in the apartment – not cheap ones, and of great personal value to me. I contacted the property the very next day, politely asking if they could check and send them back. Of course, I offered to pay for any shipping or related costs. Their response? A short message saying they would contact the cleaning service. And then… nothing. Despite several follow-up messages over the following weeks, I received no further reply. No update, no apology, no effort to help. Just complete silence. It’s now been weeks, and I’ve accepted that I will never see my shoes again – not because they couldn’t be found, but because the hosts clearly had zero interest in helping or even responding. This kind of attitude is simply unacceptable for anyone in the hospitality business. If you value decent communication and a minimum level of care from your hosts, I strongly suggest you look elsewhere.
