Breakfast was great and we loved that we could have choices e.g. have our eggs the way we like. The hosts of the property were very nice. We arrived very late and they were so accomodating.

The physical location of the Gite la Veilleuse is good, on the side of the road. The property is quite nice. Breakfast was very good, with a good choice of options.

We were able to choose our breakfast ahead of time. The host was always friendly and helpful. The fee was very reasonable. Easy to find the location and easy parking.

It was a lovely spot. Our hostess was lovely, our room was really comfy and the breakfast..a treat for sure…we had the fresh fruit, granola and yogurt. The fruit was all the fruit in season and the presentation was beautiful. A lovely rural b and b!

We chose the Gite la Villeuse because of its proximity to a huge birdwatching area. We were only passing through and wanted to make the most of our time in Riviere de Loupe. We could have stayed for several days. The location was, indeed, spectacular, with sightings of thousands of snow geese and many other birds less than a minute away, but the inn was very special too. Louise was very comfortable with our late arrival. Her inn is a delightful and comfortable home. The room was exactly as offered - actually, better! Small craft and art works on display were so interesting. The panelling of the room and the quilt and bedding - features that added a sense of comfort. We were offered a breakfast choice the night before, with a very accommodating range of 6 am to 9 am for breakfast hours. We were able to be out early for a couple of hours for birdwatching, and then came in to a really, really nice breakfast. Artful and nutritious! The Gite la Villeuse is a gem.
