“Character, easy parking, great value.”
The rooms were spacious and the property had Provence Character. The locals were so friendly, always a greeting, which made us feel welcome. The host/owner supplies everything you could possibly need, everything you would find in your own home. It is an unusual property, built out of the rocks at the rear. This would make it very cool in hotter months. It is not the same as staying in a 'new build' modern property. It felt on the cooler side in the bathroom at night It was quirky for something different, the bedrooms were modern and comfortable. The rooms are bigger than the suggested images on the photographs. A great effort was made to make sure we were comfortable and the property was spotlessly clean on arrival, beds are comfortable. Just remember, there is a lot of character rock in the building structure. The location was very central to visit lots of places; Lourmarin, close and stunning. Roussillon, 1 hour. Sisteron 1 hour 30 minutes. All worth a visit! The reason for 10/10 was superb value for money. I would advise checking if you can use the washing machine in the property before your visit. Everything else was straightforward.
