The food at all of the buffets was good. We enjoyed breakfast at the buffet closest to the ocean everyday and it was great. Serving staff was fabulous, especially Luna.

The food in most of the restaurants was really good and especially the breakfast and lunch buffets left little to wish for. The American country restaurant was really good. The hotel area in general was very well maintained and it felt really nice to spend most of the day on the premises. The room was clean and the room bar was refreshed regularly. We would happily come again.

I think main was value for money. I need more space to complete my review. We reached Cabu airport with the hope that taxi which was promised by booking .com is waiting .Nothing happened but we were approached with at leleast 10 different company who wanted to sell their sight seeing tours. After almost 90 months minutes we realised we have to hire a private taxi to take us to Riu.PaidUSD 100. I have travelled almost 50 hours from Kuala Lumpur. Reaching Riu ,no one helped us with luggage to the desk. On desk we were attended with Ashly. Nice girl but I assume she was burned with receiving two many guests . They gave us the room 9057 which is the last unit in the whole complex. After full payment and some small extra fees ,bel boy took us for 15 minutes trip to our room.it was almost 9PM and we were lucky to have our di ner in food court.First day was gone with tierness and confusion. Second day and days onward we were lucky to explore ourself. We went to spa to use their jacuzzi which was not working. We found out this Spa has hardly used.Still needed advanced appointments. Our second day started with good breakfast in so called Italian restaurant. We used the swimming pool around same area and their bar extensively.

The fact that the term "all inclusive" actually meant all inclusive. All drinks and food were included which meant it was easier to keep track of money spent on holiday. The food at the resort was fantastic.

“Swan around in pools - Drink, eat, sleep and drink again. Go the suite option if you can afford it!”

We paid more for a Suite with sea view, and it made a huge difference in our stay. The standard rooms are adequate, but our suite was split level, bath in the bedroom and a view to die for. There is ample pools and the bar staff are not shy in pouring the drinks. Food was of a reasonable quality, with some eateries better than others. The American Country was particularly good. Overall, a very clean resort.
