“Disappointing service — Management took advantage of a technical error”

We booked two rooms for four people, but due to a technical error on the booking platform, one room was incorrectly listed for a single occupant. Despite the fact that we had already paid the full market rate for two people for both rooms, the hotel used this glitch as an excuse to demand a massive additional surcharge upon arrival. The extra fee they forced us to pay was predatory; it was **more than double** the actual price difference between a single and double occupancy room. Knowing we were in a foreign country with no internet access and no local transport options like Uber, the hotel clearly took advantage of our vulnerability to extract more money. The management’s behavior was the most disappointing part. The manager consistently ignored multiple phone calls from the booking platform’s support team to resolve the issue. When I finally spoke to him myself, he was completely dismissive, stating it "wasn't his problem." This was not an attempt to settle a fair price difference, but a deliberate choice to exploit a guest in a difficult situation. I would not recommend staying at a place that operates with such a lack of integrity.

Amazing staff, extremely friendly. Beautiful location. Great facilities, can't recommend it enough. Will definitely come back.

Spacious, clean, comfortable. Fully stocked bar (I didn't use as it was an all inclusive place). Plently of water bottles.

Well we had a reservation confirmed by booking however when we showed up the resort had nothing and did very little to try and help. They blamed booking and booking blamed the resort. We had to find our own accommodations.

the hotel was fabulous with great facilities and cleanliness. The overall ambience was lovey The staff all though the hotel (APART FROM RECEPTION)were extremely courteous and helpful The overall quality and presentation of food at Le Medona and Cortes was fabulous with extremely helpful servers and chefs I would love to commend Celia at omelette station who was so cheerful every morning and brought a smile to our faces One big suggestion We tried all three specialty restaurants Misaki and Coyota had fabulous food especially for my wife who is vegetarian. The service and ambience was superb as was the quality of the freshly prepared food Kristal however was a massive disappointment. I have heard the same sentiments from a large number of other guests Why not replace the cuisine there with a mixture of southeast Asian and south Asian fusion incorporating Thai, Indonesian and Indian cuisine I think that this will be a massive positive step that would be universally popular

“Terrible, worst room on the Hotel and i got food poisoning”

The room we got was the worst room in the Hotel iuntile we demanded a change. I got food poisoning there, advsed them and there was nothing done.

The property was beautiful and well maintained. We had plenty of food options and having access to the Santa Fe hotel was great for the pool party. The service was incredible and the staff were all incredibly helpful and kind.

The buffet meals were all amazing. Because of the variety, we didn't bother to go to the specialty restaurants. We liked that there were plenty of pool chairs available any time of the day. The staff were all very conscientious.

The food was very good, the specialty restaurants were good to excellent. No problem finding a place by the pool or in the lounges. Most of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
