“Fantastic boutique hotel that's in a great location with all the fitness 'bells and whistles'”

2nd time we have stayed at Swell. Loved the bigger Pool Suite room and the cold plunge plus infra-red sauna. Also used their gym via a partnership in town which was great. Perfect for weights and all classes, including reformer pilates and yoga - very smart. The staff, we left an important item behind that was express posted back to us. THANK YOU. The bed and pillows were fantastic, very comfy.

Need to explain the door lock from the inside when you think it has not locked!! Also the light switches, we were not used to using the dimmer to actually turn the lights off. We looked everywhere for the switches!!

Excellent location, rooms were lovely & staff very accomodating, pool was great & got great sun. Overall fantastic hotel.

The location couldn't have been better, just walking distance from the center of Byron town and a wide selection of bars and restaurants. Although central, it was also quiet, like a little oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. LOVED that it is adult only and the offering of a private sauna and cold plunge pool.

The staff were lovely upon arrival and the check-in process was so easy! The facilities were amazing the aesthetic rooms and pool area definitely were a stand out for me. The sauna and cold plunge were also a really cool experience, my partner loved them. The hotel is also in a really convenient spot and walked literally everywhere - it only took a few minutes to get to the shops and restaurants! We would definitely stay at The Swell if we were to visit Byron Bay again.

The property was perfectly situated for what we wanted to do; surfing and diving all within walking distance as were the many restaurants.
