“Excellent base to explore Byron and surrounds.”

Excellent villa unit with all mod cons, including a full kitchen, a washing machine, a huge TV, and an exceptionally clean BBQ on the verandah. The view from the enclosed verandah was excellent, looking out across the water. The park is quiet and well laid out, with great privacy and no noise. It is also only a 10-minute level walk into town, which solves many parking hassles.

Beautiful surrounds, close to Byron Bay main beach, one of the most beautiful places on earth. Remnants of subtropical rainforest, some magnificent trees. Staff are very pleasant and courteous with one exception (see below).

The pricing of this park is extravagant to say the least. Plenty of accommodation available up and down the coast equivalent standard and amenities for a third of the price. Byron Bay is nice but not exceptional . And the gate did not work!

We were pleasantly surprised by the accommodation at the Reflections holiday park and campsite near Byron Bay. Located about one mile out of the town (which was very busy and congested) on the road up to the lighthouse, the holiday park contained a mix of cabins and areas to pitch tents adjacent to Clarks beach. The environment was clean, well managed and a very nice place to spend time. We received a warm welcome at reception, and our unit ( 10 ) had recently been refurbished with a comfortable double bed, a microwave oven, a fridge, kitchen sink, cutlery and crockery, a small desk for eating and working (in addition to a table and chairs outside on a small balcony) and a good number of power sockets. The small bathroom contained a toilet, wash basin and shower and the Wi-Fi was good and reliable. There was also an iron, ironing board and a hair dryer. We really liked the location immediately close to Clarks beach which was great for surfing, but not so great for swimming! The site also had a small shop and a launderette although this required scanning a QR code to pay for the washing (7 dollars) and the drying (8 dollars) which was a bit strange and took a lot of sorting out! Overall, we really liked the place and would certainly recommend it to other travellers.
