Beautiful property within walking distance of Orla Bardot and several other beaches. Room and facilities were very clean and in great condition. Paola, Ross, Charlie and Vita were great hosts!

Our stay at Pousada Villa Canaã was perfect. Simone, Marcos and Lavinia were extremely welcoming and helpful, gave us plenty of information about the local area, and we were able to walk to nearby restaurants and shops very easily. The villa itself is very comfortable and well presented, and the breakfast everyday was great. This is perfect for anyone looking to stay in Buzios. Thank you!

Amazing stay. Simone, Marcus and team were fantastic. Great welcome, exceptional grounds, rooms and facilities and wonderful bespoke breakfasts - always with a Brazilian twist. If you want a relaxing, comfortable stay a very short walk from all restaurants and beaches - this is the place. We were privileged that the team also spoke perfect English - as our Portuguese is not good. The breakfast was top of the notch! The room was fully equipped, very comfortable bed, amazing shower and nice view from the balcony. The pool was very close to our room, nice water temperature and comfy chairs. I want to take a minute to thank Thiago especially for all his attention to every detail and support in everything we needed. He was very welcoming and always greeted us with a smile, giving us the best tips for visiting the town.

“Paradise in Buzios”

The property is paradise. The location is beautiful with a gorgeous view. The breakfast was fantastic and best of all the staff were amazing. I’ve never met hotel staff who are so happy to help out and make the holiday a good experience. This is the best place we have ever stayed. We will definitely be back! I loved all of the little extras that made our stay feel special: welcome coconut water and dessert, friendly conversation at breakfast from all staff, a water and snack for our journey back to Rio. The pool is lovely and refreshing, and the grounds were beautiful with all of the flowers, plants, birds and butterflies.

“Be prepared to be pampered by perfect hospitality in Villa Canaa”

Perfect hosts make you feel very welcome . It is like staying with family . The suites are great and have a nice view on the beautiful nature around the Pousada . The place feels very authentic in its surroundings. Simone and Marcus are great at pampering the guests and keep surprising you with little extras . They clearly enjoy what they do. Breakfast is amazing. Same level as the Aman resorts i ve been fortunate to visit .

Amazing pousada, managed by the owners, both very friendly and helpful who provided us tips to enjoy our stay in Buzios even more. Breakfast was fantastic, on top of the regular buffet, there was a selection of freshly cooked options from the kitchen and a new homemade dessert every day. Rooms and shared spaces were very clean and lots of thoughtfully considered details that made our stay extra pleasant.

The best has been the kind and helpful service of Marcos and Simone, the owners and hosts of the pousada. And the amazing breakfast they prepare themselves. They were careful of my gluten restrictions. The pousada is beautiful and quiet, the views are amazing. We had a great time.

This property is very special. The photo’s and description on Booking.com do not do it justice. The owners have created this 7 room Villa with the most incredible care and attention. It has been crafted perfectly into the hillside. With a large electric gate it feels very safe and secure. Marcus and Simone, the owners, have literally thought of everything. This isn’t just their business but their home and every inch of it oozes quality. The icing on the cake is the food and in particular the breakfast. Each guest is greeted like a friend and served a banquet of finely prepared exotic fruits, cereals, cheeses, ham as well as hot freshly cooked Brazillian specialities, each prepared with the same high level of attention to detail as they put into their home. The breakfast area is very nicely positioned with a lovely view out across the veranda and is reached via a patio area full of character. the patio area is surrounded by beautiful plants which are frequented by colourful birds including hummingbirds feeding from the nectar feeders. The bird song whilst you enjoy your breakfast is wonderful. Marcus and Simone are a lovely couple who have worked extremely hard to create this and make all the guests feel at home. We were a party of 5, 3 travelled from England. The whole group all felt that this was the finest accommodation of its type and the best breakfast we have enjoyed anywhere. if you are considering visiting just go for it, you won’t regret it.

“Special retreat in Buzios”

Absolutely wonderful place to stay in Buzios! Marcus and Simone are exceptional hosts, we felt like we were visiting friends we hadn't seen in a while! Their hospitality is top notch, they greeted us personally and took the time to explain everything about the pousada and the area. They gave us suggestions about beaches, places to visit and restaurants. As mentioned in other reviews, their breakfast is delicious and very substantial, apart from what's on the buffet they offer a hot meal and dessert made fresh everyday... this is a truly special place run by wonderful people! We'll definitely come back, beijos do Marrocos :D
