Everything was perfect! Alessandra, the host, is so caring and puts a lot of love into this place which you can feel when staying there. The room was extremely cozy and comfortable. And last but not least, the breakfast was amazing and great to get to know some things about the area from Alessandra. We would definitely go there again!

We have just left Pietra del’Acqua to travel home, and we feel moved by the hospitality shown to us by Alessandra. This modest stone house in the forest is an oasis of calm and tranquility, and we were treated each morning to a delicious and sustaining breakfast featuring local specialities and home made dishes, always beautifully presented. The accommodation is comfortable, simple and rustic in style, with thoughtful touches - like carefully curated furniture, artwork, and a wonderfully natural and free-flowing garden totally in harmony with the surroundings - all being a hallmark of Alessandra’s genuine feel for creating a homely and welcoming environment. We learnt a great deal from her about the local area, and about the culture, food and people of Tuscany. A truly memorable house and hostess. Thank you, Alessandra.

“Everything was wonderful”

I spent a beautiful week with my wife at Pietra d'Acqua. Our host, Alessandra, delighted us with a tasty breakfast that included tarts made at home by herself and products from local shops in the town. The coffee was very good, especially the cappuccino. Also, the host gave us information, tips and tricks about what we could visit in the area and where you can park your car at low cost or for free. We want to come back to Pietra d'Acqua someday to spend another wonderful vacation.

“Authentic Italian Experience”

If you want to become a part of Italian household, that’s the place for you. The house with three apartments is located in a wood very close to the Buti town, great spot to visit Pisa, Lucca and Florence. The place is a member of Slowstayinitaly and very well managed by Alessandra, very nice lady and the owner. You will get water from the garden, natural soaps and local food for breakfast. We loved the place. Thank you!

Alessandra is one the kindest hosts we have ever met. Everything went smoothly from the very start, location is absolutely charming. Rooms were clean, breakfasts were tasty, especially thanks to fresh homemade cakes every day. Buti is a small village with a lively square and many cool restaurants. It is a perfect place for trips to Pisa, Lucca, Florence and it is also quite close to the seacost.
