“Perfect log cabin for a walk in the woods.”

The cabin was exactly as it appeared in the listing and was perfect for our stay. We wanted a short stay, self catering, outside of town where our dogs would be comfortable and that had a cosy, homey feel. This cabin ticked all the boxes. The secure garden area around the cabin was ideal for our 2 dogs and we did not have to worry about them escaping or being cooped up inside a hotel room or apartment. And of course being able to park inside the property made unloading easy. The location, only a short drive or walk from the town of Burunchel was perfect for our excursion to the Rio Borosa and just down the lane from the cabin was a lovely area of olive groves where we could walk the dogs closer to home. The cabin was spotlessly clean and well equipped for preparing meals with a full size fridge and a good range of utensils. Had it been a bit warmer it would have been lovely to sit at the table on the verandah and we noted that it had a spa which would be delightful in summer. We specially liked our only neighbour, a very friendly, docile rottweiler who said hello through the fence but otherwise was totally non-intrusive.
