Was in a very handy location to restaurants and shops. Short drive to Emily Bay for amazing snorkelling . Large living space for 4 adults and good size kitchen. Also great to have use of the pool on hot lazy days

Very central to Burnt Pine township. Lots of space in the cottage. Owners next door were a quiet little family. The furnishing including kitchenware (glasses etc) very tasteful. Beach towels supplied Met with car to rent at airport Their Toddler Cadel was a cutie .A touch of country house with wild chickens

“Everything one needed for a great holiday”

Fantastic location within walking distance of shops, clubs, restaurants right in the heart of town. Most accommodation on Norfolk Island is not 'fancy', but clean, comfortable and provides what you need. Some are better than others for self-catering. This place was chosen because it fulfilled our requirements (cooktop, oven and washing machine) and it certainly did not disappoint. It is peaceful and very reasonably priced. Trish, the host, went above and beyond when we had to reschedule our trip by a couple of days at the last moment. She went out of her way to assist and could not have been more obliging and helpful. At one stage we thought we may have to cancel but her pro-active assistance made it all possible. Thanks Trish! We will certainly return to one of our favourite places in the world.

The location was central to everything on Norfolk. A perfect place to stay. We participated in all the Baunti tours we could possibly fit in and the location was one of the pick up points on the island. The hosts were outstanding. Trish and Ed went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed. I would highly recommend this accommodation.

It is so close to everything. Lovely position with bush background and birds to sight in the morning.

The location was perfect. It was almost in the centre of town so easy to navigate where to go.

“Loved Norfolk Island and loved Cadel's Cottage!”

Why stay in a pokey motel room when you can have a small house to spread out in - at a very competitive price, too? One of you wants to watch TV, the other wants to sleep - easy - when you're in a house. You'd like to prepare your own meals - easy - when you're in a house. You'd like to sit at a dining table to eat - easy, etc. We loved the space, the location (right in town, but very quiet at the back of the block), and Trish, the host, and her lovely family. She was there when we needed her and nowhere to be seen otherwise. Trish went above and beyond, picking us up from the airport and giving us a little tour of the town. We hired a little car from her at a very good price for the duration. You definitely need a car on the island. The beds were super comfortable, the TV works well (with Netflix etc, as well - make sure you have your access codes for Pay TV channels), the kitchen is well equipped, the washing machine is brand new, and there's a bbq! Compared to other accommodation on the island, this is a bargain!

Lovely cottage, tucked away amongst the trees with beautiful outlooks and centrally located. Very spacious: perfect for a family or two couples. Our host Trish was very kind and friendly. All the amenities made it an easy and pleasant holiday.

“Cadel’s delight”

While it might look a little dated from the outside it has a surprisingly modern interior with everything you need for your stay. Coffee,tea,dishwashing liquid,laundry detergent etc all on hand. Gail & Dennis were looking after us as the owner was overseas and did a great job picking us and dropping us at the airport as well as being on hand for any inquiries. The cottage was very clean and roomy enough for a family and more than adequate for us as a couple. If we come back to this magnificent island we would be happy to re-book at Cadel’s.
