“Best hotel I’ve stayed at for years, made by the staff”

Honestly couldn’t fault it. Great view round the pool, honesty bar after hours, really beautiful rooms. But the staff were the best bit - really helpful and understanding. Best hotel I’ve stayed in for years

“comfortable but elegant hilltop boutique hotel”

Excellent stay. Bunyola is a small village but friendly with a few restaurants to choose from. Excellent staff especially Ines who really tried her best to accommodate us in every possible way Great pool and surrounding area with comfortable lounges in the sun and cute little tables In the shade good size room, great size bathroom. Excellent breakfast!

I could not speak more highly about this hotel. As a solo female traveller coming to bunyola for a wedding I was quite nervous staying on my own but Inez and her team couldn’t have done enough for me to make my stay comfortable and enjoyable. I was even lucky enough to have a jacuzzi bathtub in my room

The staff went above and beyond to help me. I left my purse behind and Ines called me to tell me. A beautiful place if you want peace and tranquility. The breakfast was also exceptional.

“Just a perfect break from a busy life”

This is a beautiful small hotel in an old police station. Situated in the lovely village of Bunyola on the Palma to Soller train line. The rooms are delightful and very comfortable. The breakfasts were lovely with lots of choice. There is also a small lunch menu and well stocked honesty bar. The pool area is fabulous. We loved the little touches like the basket with pool towels. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable.

“Superb Hotel”

Es Corte Vell is simply divine. From the warmest of welcome to the facilities, to our very sweet goodbye. We arrived in Bunyola via the 205 bus from Palma (main bus station), this is the direct bus from Palma to Bunyola, from stop 10 in the main bus station in the centre of Palma. The bus stops in the centre of the delightful village of Bunyola, which is also served by the tourist train from Palma to Soller. The walk up to the hotel from the centre of town is perhaps a 5 minute walk. Our room was air conditioned, spotlessly clean, beautifully and tastefully decorated, including a stunning chandelier in the bathroom, we had a balcony and a super roof terrace overlooking the pool and the mountains. The hotel pool and surrounding facilities are pristine and well maintained. The staff are perfectly lovely, we were extremely well taken care of by a small team of discerning and excellent staff, no request was too much. The breakfasts were gorgeous and plentiful, with the freshest, tastiest produce. There's an honesty bar and snacks available on request until 7.30pm. The hotel gave us recommendations for restaurants in Bunyola, and we particularly liked Grill Antico. There is a small but bustling cafe society vibe in the village which is lovely to sit and chill in the evening. I can't recommend Es Corte Vell more highly, it's a perfectly beautiful hotel with attentive, friendly and professional staff, situated in a quiet mountain village, with great transport links close enough to venture further afield if required. We'd definitely book again in the future.

“Worth a visit”

Es Corte Vell met and exceeded our expectations. Parking is available, if you are lucky in the road in front of hotel, if not, up a side lane. Ines, who greeted us in reception was amazing, friendly and ideal front of house. She even came down to our car to collect part of our luggage! Hotel is lovely and ideal for visiting local areas, including the village of Bunyola. Lovely jacuzzi on the roof terrace, but unfortunately it wasn't heated and the weather was cold!
