Pleasant cottage with all the required amenities, set in a charming location beside a small stream and with sheep-grazing across the road — very relaxing and scenic. The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped; the Wi‑Fi was spotless and the temperature regulator worked perfectly, which made our stay very convenient.

“Too expensive for what you get for a one night stop.”

The location is great if you want to be secluded and far from everything but in our case we needed a sleeping stop in between places so we chose to keep driving and booked this place at last minute without realising it wasn’t that easy to reach as the road was close so we had to drive at night time through a not great road to reach the property which we felt it was in the middle of no. So for us it definitely was not a good choice but if you plan to stay there longer it’s a beautiful location with beautiful nature around you. The living room space was big and nice, with a small kitchen but the bedroom was far too small, a double bed and walls all around the bed, it felt a bit claustrophobic and not very comfortable, also the bathroom was very small and a bit dated. To be honest I was expecting more for the £160 we paid (including tax).

The hut was beautiful, and the valley is so lovely. Perfect stay for a weekend escape.

The location was priceless, right in the middle of nothing. The house is essential but perfect!

“Wonderful stay in a cosy cabin surrounded by nature”

This cabin really surprised us and ended up being one of our best stays during our Iceland trip (out of 13). It’s located in a very quiet area surrounded by breathtaking nature which is also perfect for observing the stars at night (and the northern lights if you are lucky). The cabin is spacious and equipped with everything you need. We particularly liked the small kitchen to prepare breakfast and a warm meal after a long day and the fact that the bedroom is separate from the kitchen and dining/living room. We would have loved to stay more than just one night. Definitely a recommendation!

Location, location, location. Very clean, tidy, warm and cosy. Comfortable level of space for three people.

We loved the cottage! It had all of the amenities we needed. We got soaking wet and a bit muddy earlier in the day when we were hiking, so it was a big plus being able to wash our clothes. We liked the kitchenette, which came in handy. The bed was really comfortable - too comfy because we slept in and had to rush to get out in time (that's a good problem!). The scenery, sheep, and horses - sublime! We wish we had booked a longer stay.

Accommodation 9/9 on an 11 day trip around Iceland. One of our top three accommodations on this trip. An absolutely lovely accommodation (to the extent that we're now looking at getting new window blinds at home to match the ones here). Very modern, and extremely well equipped. Maybe we got lucky, but this was also one of the least expensive places we stayed at.

A superb location on the side of a quiet valley, with ample privacy (there are four cabins in total, but not squashed too close to each other). The cabins are very cosy while not feeling small, and the bed was amazingly comfortable, with high quality bed linen also. The kitchen is well equipped, and the wifi was reliable and fast. An excellent option if you're in this part of Iceland!

The Cabin is spacious, fully equipped, clean with a very comfortable bed. The possibility to wash clothes and cook a nice meal. The big tv in the bedroom with Apple TV was a nice addition. Quiet surroundings and a small waterfall nearby.
